"By far one of the best restaurants I've ever eaten at. The food is absolutely incredible and the staff are so nice. My brother was so excited to go here and try the ramen and he wants to go back tomorrow because of how good our meal was. : I got the Spicy Tokotsu while he got the Black Arashi. "The service here is unbelievable. Jack at the front desk has been so helpful. He has made recommendations for tours and spas. Adrian was also extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I called the hotel while out to see if the front desk could find out if certain tours were still happening. Adrian looked everything up for us and gave us accurate information. The fireplace in the king suit is beautiful and gave off a lot of heat. The one small thing I didn’t like is there is not a lot of storage in the room for clothes. So we couldn’t really unpack a lot. But the room is stunning the bathroom layout is really cool. The pool is a bit cold but the hot tub was perfect. The pool area is very beautiful. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone coming out. Service: 5"

"When we tried to put in our order tonight (table of 5) for food the waitress took down one couples order then physically tried to take the menu from my hands along with the 2 other people. I was confused and said we still needed to order. She then made a comment about how she thought all that food was for everyone as they ordered a lot of food and that we were greedy. (They only got nachos and a platter) when my friend asked if they had any olives or celery when she got her ceaser (only had a lime) was told if they had it it would probably be in the drink already. I got the steak sandwich with a ceaser salad and the salad looked good but when I tried to eat it my mouth started to burn due to the amount of garlic that was in it. I personally love garlic but it tasted like I was eatting a whole uncooked clove. They did offer to exchange the side but I declined as the sides my friends had didn't taste great either and didn't want to waste food I wouldn't eat anyways. The rest of the food that came out was really disappointing especially the grey gravey that stayed in its bowl like a dq blizzard when you flipped it. I always tip especially if the service and food isn't always good because people do have off days but I've never been treated like that anywhere I've eaten before and it was really disrespectful. I will not eat or even drink here again. I don't recommend anyone trying this place out either."

"I went alone and ordered steak (choice of garlic mashed potatoes mushrooms and it came to about $54 including tip! The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was great! Bread was also served before the meal. The food seems to come out a little late. I waited a while too I wanted you to make a couple salads in front of me while I finished eating that steak. Oh~~I see you’re eating light today~ But they ate all that steak. Only then did the steak come out haha. To be honest, the steak was too salty for my taste. The meat was a little tough. The aperitif bread and mashed potatoes were very delicious. If the steak didn't have mashed potatoes and broccoli... I would have been so salty... I would have given up on everything. (I took this picture while eating the bread before the meal. The photo is cut in half!"

Siddall and I were in Banff for a conference and left on the final day seeking breakfast in town. At around 9:30, we were ushered right to a table at Melissa’s Missteak."

"We stopped here on our last day in Banff. The food was served hot and fresh. We were there pretty early and only a few other people were there. I liked the more local, low key feel. Not all fancy and flashy. Just good simple yummy food for us normal folk."

"The sushi and sashimi at Miki is very well made. I don't tend to eat tuna sashimi but the one at Miki was amazing. It was smooth, buttery and my favourite here. I also enjoyed the shrimp tempura and spicy tuna roll. It is very convenient since it was connected to our hotel The Inns of Banff. It was pretty expensive and very quiet as there weren't so many other customers. It was pleasant but not the most amazing sushi experience I've had."
