"Well where do I start with my review of the Cochin restaurant? Firstly having never dined there before we were not sure what to expect. We had only read reviews on TripAdvisor and Google which had been very complemently about the food and service so we wanted to give it a try. We had a table booked for 2 at 8.30, and we were met at the door and shown to our table by the window by a very pleasant waiter. He prompty brought over our menus, and we began to peruse through. The menu had a extensive selection of fish dishes which pleased me as I love fish, so I felt spoilt for choice as my expectations grew. The waiter was very attentive and informal and very knowledgeable about the dishes on their menu, and was happy to answer any questions we had. I finally settled on the fishermans soup for starter. Sadly this was a big let down! Very watery, no depth of flavour and next to no fish in an actual fish soup!!! My friend ordered the minty chilli prawns, the sauce which coated the prawns was tasty and zingy and the prawns cooked nicely however sadly the portion size and presentation was disappointing. Both starters seemed to arrive very quickly after ordering, which was a surprise. It seemed to me they had just been warmed through and thrown onto a plate. For my main course I ordered the mixed seafood curry which consisted of King fish,squid,prawns and mussels cooked in authentic Kerala special spice mixed sauce. The fish was cooked perfectly and the earthy Kerala special spice mixed sauce was the perfect accompaniment to the fish. Sadly the squid was over cooked and rubbery which was the only negative aspect to the dish. My friend overed the kuttanadan duck roast which consisted of slices of duck cooked in thick roast gravy sauce. The sauce had a lovely velvety rich flavour to it however the duck itself was a big let down as sadly it was tough a chewy. All in all some postives but also some negatives. If this was a school report it would probably read, 'tries hard but can do better '!!!"

"Fantastic food! Don’t listen to those reviews, some people just get drunk here and don’t understand that they are not a bar! I come here to enjoy the taste of Thailand, where I am from! Literally, the food is authentic, delicious and flavoursome! I recommend getting the spicy dishes for a kick, but everything is great!"

"Previously used this takeaway multiple times. Meal this evening was awful massively overpowering with chillis that had completely engulfed all the food. Spoken with the takeaway and was talked over and blamed for mixing the various dishes on our plates. We have used this take away for the last year at least once a week same dishes as we have had today. We have been unable to eat any of it due to the heat from the excessive chillis. The lack of customer service is shock, I certainly will not be using this takeaway ever again and would not recommend to anyone. I appreciate things go wrong at times but a responsible business would put the matter right not blame the customer."

"Staff polite but not attentive. When you sit down for dinner and the first thing you hear is a long list of not available meals and a list of the only last ones available does not set the right mood for the night. The food we could order was nice but we had to ask for drinks and we were just left. The management need to look at improving and stock up the kitchen. At the end both card machines run out out paper so no receipts. We will not rush back any time soon. Disappointing."

"This restaurant serves stunning tapas a real foodie paradise in a casual pub situation. the broken foods are light and crisp, fresh and authentic. many care goes into the creation of these dishes and it really shows when the products come on the table. the churros for dessert was a perfect end for a great evening."

"What a true hidden gem, went in there while our car was getting sorted, had a quick bite to eat and enjoyed the beer and lager selection the staff know there drinks, as for food spot on yes small menu but by no means definitely not on the small side, had the wings and mozzarella sticks starter followed by gammon egg chips peas , and chicken kebab salad and chips, WOW what taste spot on proper chips proper gaming and no rush, as for atmosphere was spot on welcoming and you can see the locals make it specials board worth a look great staff can guarantee will be back even so am by no means close by but will be back. Visited 29th July thank you to staff here. Dietary restrictions: All labelled and if needed to no more ask staff Parking: Good size car park Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Parking space: Plenty of parking"
