".....we have reservations and were extremely surprised. Already the reservation with Mr. Kühbeck, very accommodating and completely uncomplicated. We were greeted very charmingly by Mrs. Kühbeck and the evening was excellent and absolutely professionally accompanied by both. We chose the vegetarian menu with a delicate garden chicken in the main course. For this we have tasted a 2016 White Pinot by van Volxem from the Saar region. From homemade bread, via Amuse bouche, fermented redwort, in dessert camomile blossom ice cream with chocolate and more, each product perfectly matched for itself, always integrates a touch of acid. The service of Ms. Kühbeck professionally, loosely and discreetly versed, always with discretion, cordially and equally dedicated. A duet absolutely played. The ambience in the historic building, old vault and yet with a modernity. So we immediately reserved a second evening to fourth and were intrigued again. We wish you all the best and look forward to seeing you next year, guaranteed..."

"This is not a fancy place as it literralybis a small wooden hut. The owner lady is a true Thai lady who does all the cooking. The spring rolls are awesome as is the Pad Thai with prawns or the Green Curry. The price is very cheap while the quality is fresh quality as you see her prepare it fresh in front of you. It's excellent flavors as I drive from Salzburg to get the best Thai in the land."

"We stayed at the Kempinski hotel for a weekend we tried the restaurant 2 times for dinner. The menu card is nothing special, the a la carte selection is very narrow. I ate a Wiener Schnitzel was ok but too much cover too few meat..for 25€ found it definitely overpriced. When we Arrived first we were given a menu card without any prices inside..when we asked what happened they realized they gave us a wrong card we received the card of the half-board guests, although nobody asked us before if we have half-board or anything! My boyfriend ordered a calf filet the waitress left without asking him how he would like the meat to be prepared. They gave us no wine card we had to ask for everything ourselves. We had 3 waiters during our dining and nobody of them cared about us to ask if we need anything. Service needs a lot of improvement, they are nice and very friendly, no question, but they are unorganized and unprofessional."

"If you are in the area, this is the place you will not miss! Big Schnitzels in a lot of varieties are accompanied by a stunning view. The servings are really big - so make sure you have been on a hiking tour before ;). The menu also includes great fresh salads, if someone does not like Schnitzels. So there should be something for everyone. They serve not only beer, but great Austrian wine. The service is outstanding friendly. You really get good value for your money."

"We stopped here after the Salt mine today and so glad we did! It is only 5 minutes from the mine and so well worth it! The owners were so friendly and spoke excellent English. The hospitality was really great. The food absolutely worth every penny. In fact we liked it so much we might be back tomorrow night for dinner as well when we finish our day at the Eagles Nest. When we pulled in we only saw one other car outside so we were a bit skeptical. But all 4 of us are so happy we came inside. You could not find a warmer welcome in all of Bavaria!"
