"Very bad experience. I approached the restaurant due to the reviews and the beautiful presentation. Approximately 50 lei for a simple breakfast mesh and omelette and 2 coffees for 2 persons. We waited about 20 25 minutes for those eyes and a coffee, since we were 10 people in the restaurant. The bathroom was clogged with hygienic toilet and the door was not closed. I tried to push hard enough to rest on my heel. Then I got stuck in the toilet so I could not open it and I had to force the door. The only star is for decoration. A cool, pleasant decoration with a traditional theme on the name, but it was very much in contrast to commercial music, radio. Original Foarte proastă experiența. Am abordat restaurantul datorita recenziilor si a prezentarii frumoase. Aproximativ 50 de lei pe un mic dejun simplu ochiuri si omleta si 2 cafele pentru 2 persoane. Am asteptat vreo 20 25 de minute pentru ochiurile alea si o cafea, având în vedere că eram 10 oameni in tot restaurantul. La baie era infundata toaleta cu hartie igienica si nu se închidea usa. Am incercat sa imping destul de tare ca sa se sprijine in toc. Apoi am rămas cam blocată înăuntru toaletei ca nu puteam sa o deschid si a trebuit sa fortez usa. Singura stea e pentru decor. Un decor fluid, plăcut, cu tematică tradițională pe seama numelui, insa era foarte contrastant cu muzica comercială, de radio."

"The layout of the place is very nice and terrace and garden is intimate. The serving was fast and elegant. Unfortunately the food did not reach expectations. We ordered a tartar beef steak and the flavor was not there. It was very blend and all...you could taste was the pickels, no beef what so ever. The herbal aromatic butter was not what i would expect and tasted many times before. It was a cheap butter with no taste and the only aroma was of the mustard seeds. I would give a higher rating but it is a restaurant after all...and considering the location and the elegant layout i would expect the food to match what the eye sees."

"They do not cook as they do. I ordered the Prk dinner as in bargau, but was average. the polnta had no salt, the meat was not so good and tasty. the beer was cold."

"Exceptional fresh trout fish directly from the nearby fish farm! we had a fish soup and drrout in maisflour with polnta and garlic sauce. the taste was divine! we were also offered a delicious trout salad on the house. eating is excellent, but. we cannot say the same about the restaurant design"

The food is great, large portions and not expensive and I have just one tip: trust your waitress! : Ours was right on the money with her recommendations, the service is fast and all in all a very good experience. Look for them...next time you're in Bistrita, we found out the address might change starting fall."
