"If you are in Braunlage and take the lift to the top of Wurmberg you find a very authentic restaurant in a newly build hotel. The restaurant can be crowded on a Easter Friday but the service was very good and atmosphere was great. Good solid food after a long walk. Some people walk up or down, but be in good condition if you take the direct way up. In winter time this is excellent for skiing as well."

"After which we had grazed hungry, we have returned to the rodelhaus. it was a lot of going on this Saturday and everything cried literally after stress, but the employees were seemingly relaxed and despite the crowd more than friendly. every wish and every question was received very publicly. we (2 children and 3 adults) felt just welcome and thus all around well. The quality of eating spoke for themselves by using exclusively regional and fresh products. the vegetarian in our round came just like the meat lovers among us. all typtop!"

"This is the first time we have eaten at Jaspers. It has relaxed atmosphere. We were a group of ten, we pre ordered our food prior to the evening. The groups German was limited but the staff spoke some English, they were patient and attentive. We were staying in Sonnenberg but we had been recommended this Grill, it definitely did not disappoint. Good service and value for money. We will definitely be here eating again, when we’re next in Braunlage."

"Super tasty, self-cooked eating without any finished stuff, where is it still? big portioning and all this at a really good price! insanely cute, nice atmosphere, here just tasted really good. when I'm close again, it's definitely going back there."

"We went to the rodelhaus to eat after a long hike lunch and were pleasantly surprised to find two selected vegan options on the menu. eating is very rich and with delicious (local crumbling, although it was also a bit salty. there are also many vegan drinks options, and I recommend the apple stamp that is alcohol-free and really sweet."

"We were here yesterday on the recommendation of our renter and were not disappointed. first a lot of us the great facility on. everything is very lovingly decorated, clothed with wood and beautifully decorated to eat we had the tomaten soup, which is recommended and the carving with the sambalsoße and Dutch fries. We haven't eaten in holland yet, but it's delicious. the carving was okay, the sosse dept as a sose hollandaise with a chillishote. is expandable).-: to dessert we had the tree-studzel with sugar! I can highly recommend to not say, absolutely try! is freshly prepared and served warm. we would go to dinner here anytime."

"This was my fourth visit to Braunlage on my way back to England from Berlin but my first visit to 51Nord and I will definitely be going back and recommending it to all my friends. I had the pleasure of eating there 3 nights out of my 4 night stay. I'm fortunate enough to travel around the world with my business and have eaten in some very nice restaurants and indeed some not so nice! and can genuinely say that the food I was served is some of the nicest I have ever tasted, the small filet steak was not only huge but nothing short of exceptional! in fact it was so good I had it on my first and last night. You can tell that all the food is fresh and prepared in house The team at 51Nord headed by Ines were friendly, professional accommodating and the food was cooked to perfection. I have to agree with Ian W that the two negative comments left by the other guest are completely at odds with my experience.... baffling?! I look forward to returning again very soon."
