"Good meal. Not much choice, but it proves it's cool. The buns are very good. the very gourmet and generous soup. at this time, the dishes are higher and too good. The boss is always smiling and nice. It's always a pleasure to come and eat in his restaurant. You feel like home. service always pleasant with smile. It's my little caennae canteen."

"I had lunch here on Saturday 29th November 2014, with my 9 year old son (who is not vegan/vegetarian), and my eldest daughter who is vegetarian and slowly becoming vegan. I am vegan and both myself and my daughter find it very difficult to eat out because there are very few places that serve vegetarian food (omelette or salads are the usual choices) and I have yet to find a vegan choice on a menu. So to be able to eat at this adorable little restaurant and have both choices made available to us was terrific. It is a really quaint little establishment, tucked away down an olde worlde alley in centre ville. The decor is retro and my son was intrigued by the posters and various old toys on display. I loved the shabby chic tables, chairs and benches and the whole place exudes charm, warmth and friendliness. The staff were so helpful and always smiling, they spoke English and French, and the service was impeccable. Jess and I had the most delicious vegan curry with a glass of Bio red wine, followed by vegan cheesecake to die for! Jacques had a toasted cheese sandwich, which was not on the menu, but they did if for him especially because he is a fussy eater, and a big glass of Bio apple juice. Jacques especially loved the big wooden fork we were handed that had Good Karma written on it....this was used to go up to the counter to make our orders and for when I paid the bill. Just these lovely little touches went a long way to making it an extra special treat for us. The meal was very reasonably priced and I cannot praise this establishment highly enough. They are part of a small chain, family owned and run, and the next time I am in Caen I will be eating at Dolly's Restaurant and Pancake Night Fever as well, so look out for more reviews from me about these restaurants. Absolutely fabulous....anyone who likes delicious, healthy and ethical eating should most certainly dine here!"

"Excellent restaurant de sushis, sur place et à emporter. L'accueil est extrêmement sympathique, et tout est fait devant vous avec des produits frais et de grande qualité. Pour ceux qui prennent à emporter, un apéritif vous est souvent offert le temps de l'attente ; pour ceux qui voudront prendre le repas sur place, la salle est sobre, et les menus comprennent une soupe et du riz en accompagnement. Nous y allons régulièrement en couple ou entre amis, et nous n'avons jamais été déçus de la qualité. Le meilleur restaurant de sushis de Caen !!"

"Unless you really have absolutely no idea of asian food, or are really truly utterly desperate for it, don't go!It wasn't just that the food wasn't authentic ( for example you can get excellent Pan Asian or Fusion food ), the dishes were just plain awful. The deep fried starters were greasy, and the steamed dim sum were just embarrassingly poorly excecuted. Instead of the usual lightness and succulence, the Har Gau and Siu Mai had thick casings and solid fillings. To make things worse, all the buffet items were luke warm to stone cold.Sushis were terrible as the rice wasn't made right. Too gluey with too much water and vinegar.And whatever you do, DON'T order cocktails. We asked for two mojitos, and we had no idea what they served us. We thought they gave us the wrong drink, but they confirmed a few times that they were indeed mojitos. I am pretty sure they had menthol in it???? Most disgusting mojito we have ever had.I tried hard to find something positive to say about this meal......but I struggle."

"My wife had offered me a meal for my birthday in this restaurant. The kitchen is of course refined, the atmosphere is warm. we recommend the menu land and sea to discover a small part of the chef's talents. The service is remarkable, the staff is extremely kind and helpful. We will certainly return."

"The local is well-kept and clean, the food is great. The formula is at menu and prices are convenient: we tasted 5 different dishes, especially the Roquefort starter and the salmon appetizer are delicious. Chocolate ganache dessert is irresistible."
