"We thought we were enjoying a very good meal in this gastronomic restaurant and there surprise we were put aside because we did not choose the tasting menu. We prefer the map. Well the customers who take the card are punished we ask for real champagne by the glass... the waitress serves us cava, telling us that it was champagne! Either given the price of the haircut, she really made fun of us! Not even 4€! Then I decide to take the fish from the market, I ask what is this fish and she just says from the sea bass sauce I will come back and vegetables too! My husband decides to have the meat.. order placed. The waitress comes back and tells us that for the meat we have to wait 25 minutes!!!!! A sketch ! Why she didn 't tell us when taking the order and or why it 's not written on the card. Really big disappointment! Luckily the wine was good and well advised! Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1"

"This place is a little gem in Calpe old town we had pear and goats cheese,prunes and bacon,slow cooked lamb,potatoes and bread and aioli finished off with delicious chocolate ice cream and advoccat.Very reasonably priced.We will be back in September that's for sure."

"Veni Vidi Vinci very seldom this saying was used in a more appropriate way than writing about the Orobianco in Calpe (Valencia Spain. Chef Ferdinando came to Calpe, found this magnificant place with an incomparable view over the village, the Ifach, the coast and the sea and has won a satisfied customer and friend with his 11 course menu. As a traveller I find myself every year more often travelling to Calpe, a place which about 5 years ago I only new as a City sign on the toll way. In summary I must say that Calpe is yet a gastronomic underestimated worth travelling town with the charm of a small village. The area around Benidorm, Calpe, Denia is so diversified in means of food and restaurants that I still have so much more to see and to taste. But I´m digressed... Veni Vidi Vinci is also applying to me. I finally made a reservation, went up the hill and I have won one of the best gastronomic experiences during the past years! First to say, its probably one of the best Italian restaurants in Spain combining Italian with local food. Second to say that the stuff is just friendly and accommodating. If you like to put yourself into the hands of a someliere, just let Oscar take over. He is still young, he still little bit nervous but he has a knowledge about wines which is really fantastic. One could say well, other sommelieres also know , yes, but knowledge is one thing while bringing this knowledge across is something way more difficult. So we had one of the best wine recommendations of the past years with some fantastic wines which I did not know until that day. So I left wiser than I entered the restaurant. So what about the food ? What should I say... incomparably fantastic. Be informed that the menu will be changed once or twice within the year. We have experienced the Menu Unico and that was extremely good. I dont want to make too many details about the menu as I do not want to destroy your own experience. Just GO and conquer the hill! ... and enjoy : I did, and I will again"

"We visited about 5 years ago and its as good as ever. Atmosphere is great, staff were lovely. Layout is cool. And food...fabulous. Great menu! We had the croquettes to start. Mains of BbQ ribs and fancy fish and chips. Defo will be back."
