"Quiet place but it was near closimg on a Tuesday night. Clean place and the food is fresh. Spices are not too hot but I'm sure if your a regular they'd spice it up for you. Good place for a date plenty of wine. Indonesian yellow curry noodles delicious"

"Stopped by for lunch on friday and throughly enjoyed their lunch buffet. For $10.99 they have dum ki biryani tandoori, butter chicken, peanut chicken, mix vegetable and many more...hard to believe how can they afford to deliver such fresh food at so low price...everything in their buffet is so fresh which you can tell by taste of the meat. I don't mind if they just keep biryani all you can eat as its the most authentic biryani i have ever tried in entire GTA. Keep it up Aayeshazz you are like heaven for halal eaters..."

"Today was my second visit to Zen Garden. Both visits have been for lunch (my first visit was in January).As this is a vegetarian restaurant, I have tried my favourite 'meat items' with replacement veg-ingredients (to give myself a fair comparison to things I know and love).At Zen Garden, meat is basically changed out of dishes for things like seitan (wheat-meat made from gluten flour), tofu and mushroom.Both times I have found the actual vegetable content of dishes to be a bit sparse. And, as with most Asian restaurant food, it was salty (but no more than any other place).The server working there today explained the owner was on holidays and they were just helping out in the mean time. I'm not sure the temporary staff are super confident in what they are doing and the regular menu I remember from my first visit was vastly reduced...hopefully it will be back to normal when the owner is back.They offer pretty well everything on the menu for sale from the freezer in the shop.I don't think I will likely be returning anytime soon. It was OK but nothing outstanding. I would have hoped for less pre-packaged stuff and more fresh vegetables. I guess vegetarian does not necessarily equal healthy...They have a small off-street parking lot, the washrooms are clean. It really is an OK place, no complaints, just nothing special."

"The available opening hours, the pricing and the unhappy staff do not lend one to want to dine here. Late opening and early closing . The bartender is the server and In a week there I never saw more than one staff member on duty."

"Great breakfast options. I ordered pancakes with peameal back bacon and opted for the real maple syrup for a slight premium (why anyone would pollute otherwise good food with fake maple flavoured pancake syrup is beyond me). My companion had 2 eggs with toast, bacon, home fries and baked beans. Reasonably priced and ample portions for sharing. Decor may be a bit dated, but we were there to eat, not for the ambiance."
