"Dropped by just for a plate of nachos and fried. The restaurant was so cold, I had to go back out to my car and wear my coat during my meal. The nachos were good, but the fries were terrible. There were about 4 fries on top of the basket that were okay, the rest were bits from the bottom of the chip fryer. I complained about the fries and the waitress took them off our bill, which was very good of her to do. I would not recommend this restaurant."

"I have been to The Curtain Call Cafe about five times now and I have yet to be disappointed! The food is simply divine - always something a little different and wonderfully prepared and presented. Owner/operator Geoff Adams is a delight to speak with, whether the conversation is about food or theatre! His English Teas are a must do! Everyone should visit - a gem in the Clarenvile area."

"We ate two dinners and two breakfasts at Dustabella's and were pleased with the quality of the food and the selection. At dinner we sampled the Cod au Gratin, the Seafood Chowder and salad with grilled chicken. The Cod au Gratin was rich and tasty. The fish is flaked - no chunks, but filling. Seafood Chowder was also quite rich and had a variety of fish and scallops. Breakfasts were basic and well cooked. At both of the dinners and one of the breakfasts there was only one person trying to serve the entire dining room. That was quite inadequate. Long wait for service."

"Myself, my mother and my son just had supper here today, and I am EXTREMELY impressed! The service was great, friendly, fast and accurate. And the food was AMAZINGGGGGG!! This is 'hands down ' the best food I 've ever had at a restaurant The Seafood Linguine is a MUST TRY. Their Alfredo sauce was phenomenal, so good that I never needed to add my Let’s Get Alfredolicious Salt to it. All 3 of us ordered something different and we all agree, it 's the best ever!!!! I cannot give this place enough stars "

"Reservations are definitely recommended as the restaurant is a bit on the small side for the seeming number of rooms at the inn. Unless you want some nearby fast food or are going to take a taxi into town [the place is on the Trans...Canada Highway], this is the only game in town. It more than met expectation. The North Atlantic clam chowder was as good as I have had on the trip. The grilled cod was also first rate with veggies and rice. Staff were very busy but outgoing. The beer options are a bit limited but a decent draft was available. The whole meal back home might have cost 10% or so cheaper but it would not have been this fresh."
