"In 1980, the TÔ restaurant advertises its Vietnamese street cuisine. It was my job for a meeting in Düsseldorf. I was worried by Rheine by train, the traffic situation on the A2 and the A3 leaves no real pleasure on a trip by car. Time for lunch before the meeting was planned. From the main station I went along the counts of Adolf Strasse and looked at the countless gastronomic offers. At the corner of the railway road to Count Adolf Strasse I saw this restaurant. The view via the mobile phone to the HP has completed the following: We come from Nam Dinh, a small town south of Ha Noi, known as the home of the court “PHO”. “PHO” is a kind of noodle soup, one of the most traditional Vietnamese dishes. Typically, “PHO” is served in large dishes called “TÔ” in Vietnamese. The name “TÔ” is the epitome for authentic Vietnamese street food, which is typically eaten in Vietnam on small red and blue plastic chairs next to the street. Therefore it is always a little loud, a little chaotic and full of life. However, it always works somehow and above all it tastes particularly delicious! A young lady messed up the service with a lot of kindness and always had the guests in sight. It was ordered and served at the table and, despite continuous take-away business, there was always time for the demand for satisfaction. I felt good. So, quickly rezi too fast street kitchen! This was tasteful Asian Vietnamese cuisine and, as far as I can judge, much closer to the taste world of Vietnam than anything I get here in Münsterland. I'm coming back!"
