"We visiting on Valentine’s Day for a night away and dinner. The tasting menu here is excellent I wish I’d got more photos. Highlights were the venison (perfectly cooked, beautifully balanced with sweet onion, mustard mash and a red wine and juniper sauce) and the edible chocolate box desert. Their Tempura oysters were perfectly crispy and something I’m going to have more of! The paired wine was one of the best I’ve had, and generous servings too. . Full English breakfast was beautifully presented with the best quality ingredients. The rooms are big and spacious with well appointed bathrooms and spectacular views over the fields. All the staff were very welcoming and helpful. We will definitely be back."

"We booked all three rooms at the b&b for the weekend which were great value for money and comfortable. We had dinner on the Friday night, the fish and chips were some of the best I’ve had. Great wine selection too. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Quiet, Great value"

"It's the first time I've been to Mrs Wong's but it certainly won't be the last. It's not licensed so you can bring your own drink if you want or have a soft drink or Chinese tea which is what I had. The atmosphere is homely, and relaxing and everyone seemed to be having a great time. The star though is the food, it's really delicious and well cooked. We had battered squid to start with and it's the best squid I've eaten, the batter was light and crispy and the squid was tender and just melted in the mouth. The duck was also tasty and well cooked. "We went to Lunch last Thursday. menu had 2 starters 4 mains 2 sweet options all freshly cooked by students with drinks £30. Frankly great value. "Not sure why I haven't reviewed on here before as I must go at least a dozen times a year! The service puts most others to shame as they genuinely care that you are enjoying your time there. The food itself is wonderful and always well presented. I tell everyone to give it a try, especially the lunchtime offer which must be the best value for miles!"

"Had a drive out tonight as the sun was shinning, had a few beers and ended up here at the coach and horses, which was the only pub that was doing food, and that was only due to the lovely Rose who agreed to keep the kitchen open for us. My wife started with the brocholi and stilton soup with hot baguette and it was lovely We both had the bangers and mash with peas gravy and crispy onions which was superb And my wife had the apple pie and custard to finish. It isn't ALL about the food and beer when you travel 15 miles for a night out, it is also about the welcome you get from the locals and the publicans, and i must say this is one of our favourite destinations. And every pub we went in to tonight made us feel at home, and none more than here at the Coach and Horses, which even has some fantastic music playing in the background So thank you for a lovely meal, and a lovely welcome. and thank you for selling us some of your lovely home made pies to take home with us, and making us feel like nothing was too much trouble see you again soon guys and good luck"
