"This is swapping over from an accidental post on my wife's account. Having endured the excessive cost and mediocre fayre of Morat/Murten (my next review... , we looked for a variety of reasonably priced vegetarian food. Restaurant de La Gare was recommended and didn't disappoint. Food and service was very pleasant, and the terrace was completely shaded by vines. There are additional tables away from the terrace, but we were happy under the shade. Our guests commented that their meat and fish meals were very good. 4 x mains, decent bottle of wine, and coffee Euro145, which for Switzerland isn't bad."

"I ordered a ribeye steak medium. It was delicious! Perfectly cooked and excellent taste. The french fries were very very good as well. Very nice atmosphere. Service was good. However, it took a long time to get my bill. Seems to be very typical here...in Switzerland. Also, the price was a little steep. 51 CHF for steak,fries,and few veggies."
