"Love this place; while the tourists eat seafood, this is from the beaten path with some of the best food in the area. I had several pasta dishes and most sandwiches on the menu and all prepared fresh (and they actually also have some seafood; Shrimp dishes are great! . Huge portions and very reasonable prices. Year 'round consistent quality!"

"I really enjoyed my meal on Saturday evening. There was a great variety of food, and all the food was fresh and at an appropriate temperature. Every single item I tried tasted delicious. $11.50 for the buffet, not including a beverage. The service was good as well."

"My family ate her for lunch after visiting Owa. Kids had Pasta, ravioli and all you can eat Spaghetti. I ordered the special of the day Meat Lovers Lasagna and my wife the goat and pear ravioli with Alfredo. To top it off we ordered dessert and we had gelato, strawberry cheesecake and carrot cake; all of which were excellent. Service was great and very attentive and decor was great and we will definitely be back."

"We enjoy going to The Copper Kettle in Foley. There is no other place like it in our area. Great teas, food, and atmosphere. It makes me remember the years when people's lives where slower and casual. Great place to slow down the pace and interact with old friends and make new friends. I have been knowing Robin and Sue for many years. Robin is an expert on teas and the mostest of a hostess. Sue is a creative chief in her own right. Everything is from scratch and Sue's original recipes. The staff is friendly and genuine. If you have explored going there yet. You should make it a must."

"The food is not from this world, but it is good for the price. I called my sister and we got a new server, Ashley. She was very sweet and reviewed several times. I didn't know she was new until she told us. We'll be back."

"Be sure to bring a friend to share a dish with you. They give you so much! Or just starve yourself the day prior before coming in. They normally serve their fare in styrofoam, plastic baskets and wax paper, but it seems to fit with the atmosphere. The décor was fun in the entrance and cashier 's counter, but bland in the dining room, though. Speaking of which, it should be called a dining hall, as big as it is. Given it was a Chinese buffet before #2 opened, it 's forgivable. Still, if you want small and cozy, there 's always the original FRG on Co. Rd. 32.<br/>They always give you a small cup of Swamp Soup, which has all sorts of greens with a little heat in it. I had the Cajun Shrimp Pistol, which was a bit too salty for my palette, but no glaring complaints otherwise. Then again just one would 've been enough for me. They gave me two!<br/>Their slogan 'Where the locals eat ' isn 't inaccurate, either!"
