"Great place to stay with many amenities on site. Some of the rooms are a little small and the showers aren't the greatest but it is an old building and that is expected. The location is great for hiking and visiting multiple adorable towns.Rooms: 4/5"

"I'm a local and frequent chef joes bistro because it's delicious! It's a perfect way to end your day of skiing at cannon. My favorite dishes are the oysters straight up or Rockefeller, best burger, Asian dumpling appetizer... the list goes on. I've never been unhappy with my meal. There aren't many really good and creative style restaurants in the north country however you won't be disappointed here. I hear his catering business is just as good. Sorry no pictures, next time."

"Excellent! This place is a little hidden but worth seeking out. Modern. Free and plentiful parking. Huge menu and beautifully prepared. It’s extremely hard to find GOOD Italian food in the DC area (IYKYK), but this is a gem. Even the Italian in our group was impressed. Attentive service without being overbearing. I loved being seated in a private room for easier conversation. Overall great experience and will definitely be back!"

"Great place that we stopped in. They have seating outside with umbrellas plus plenty of seating inside. They had some great beer choices and also have a food menu. We did a beer flight with #2 which was Gnome,#6 Belgian pale ale, #9 Nutty, and #10 Oreo. All the beers were great. My favorite was the Gnome and my husband enjoyed the Nutty which is a stout. He was a little upset when he found out they had no cans for sell or growlers. You can only get it inside. We also got an order of the pretzel bites which were very tasty."

"Baron’s pub was a big mistake. first it is only open thurs through Sunday IN-SEASON! suppe of the day is a dose of progresso (the bartender will not hesitate to tell them.) you want a limo? he will throw you a dose with a cup of ice. menu is spicy and nothing is homemade. oh, and there are 3 whole beers on tap that hardly seems to be worth calling themselves a pub. are clear when they are looking for a meal."
