"Front step/entrance is dangerous, particularly for the elderly or people with mobility issues. It's a clear ADA violation. Perhaps the State, or County folks need to get involved, as clearly the City and owner of the building have done nothing to address this. I wouldn't go back there. Food was so so, prices were reasonable. It was the only place open downtown the day we were there. Wheelchair accessibility: Non existent. Really shameful. ADA violation that should be reported to State or County officials and remedied. "I'm not a huge fan of the Victorian Era, but I can certainly appreciate this gem! OK if I didn't like the Victorian style, I shouldn't have moved to Geneseo. But having grandparents and great grandparents who were VERY Victorian themselves, it's very familiar and comforting. The restaurant is in a beautifully maintained Victorian house, and the decor is so warm and inviting it's like having dinner at Grandma's house! The menu is diverse enough to have something for everyone, including kids. The meals were delicious, and reminded me more of a good homecooked meal than dining out. Again, I thought of Grandma and her holiday dinners. With some places, the entrees are of a meager size, which leave you hungry enough that dessert is a must. Others serve such a large portion that you leave feeling bloated and uncomfortable. The Victorian Manor serves dinners that are just the right size (I'm a 225 lb man, and have an average appetite! . I had the roast beef dinner, and my wife had the meatloaf both were very tasty. The side dishes were mashed potatoes with gravy and a tasty, lightly seasoned corn. Most dinners come with a choice of salad, pasta salad or soup. My wife said the pasta salad was good, I had the tossed salad w/blue cheese dressing. We both had iced tea, which definitely tasted like homemade, not from a mix (free refills, too! . The service was flawless. Our waitress was attentive, without being a pain. As with just about everyone in Geneseo, the staff was very friendly. There wasn't one thing that I could complain about with this whole dining experience.... especially when the check came. A nice dinner for two, with beverages, came to just a hair under $20!!! I felt obliged to leave a hefty tip for the lovely young lady who was our server. I definitely recommend the Victorian Manor, and will be returning again very soon!"

"Consistently good Polish food (the soups are a standout) and excellent desserts, with warm and friendly owners and staff, too. Always worth the drive from Rochester, and I've read that even people in Buffalo, with its huge Polish community, will come here."

"The food was delicious! It was my first time there and I decided to try something different instead of just getting perogies, so I got the mielone and I'm glad I did. Nice staff as well. My husband and I split an order of crepes for dessert and it was perfect flavorful without being too sweet. Will definitely be back"
