"If you can't afford the Fat Duch at Bray this is an alternative worth investigating. My starter was a butternut squash soup topped with a generous quantity of frogs legs (boneless) and crunchy croutons - both laced with butter,garlic and parsley. Imagine traditional Burgundian escargot topping a soup.For mains I had wild boar stew with a sauce lightly flavoured with chocolate. I couldn't taste the chocolate but the sauce was rich.I finished off with white chocolate mousse with coconut.Portion sizes were regular rather than small nouvelle cuisine. Presentation was similarly standard rather than fancy. Flavours were good and value excellent at 23,70euros for the 3 course dinner. This is a small restaurant (beer cellar underneath) with about 3 dozen covers. 8 potential customers were turned away whilst we were there on a Friday so book, especially in the tourist season.Ambiance is rustic informal"
