"Chicken Salad Chick no matter the location does not disappoint!! After a trip to the zoo, the family wanted a quick lunch to take back to the condo. We had dinner plans later that night, so we wanted something light but good.They did not disappoint. We chose a family pack, 3 tubs of chicken salad, and two large sides, with large and mini croissants.Olivia's Old South is a classic with pickles and eggs, it does not disappoint. Cranberry Kelly is a winner with a fruity flare and gives you a little hint of sweetness with the cranberries and an almond crunch. The boys chose the Buffalo Barclay for a bit of spice.Grape salad was a winner all around, especially with my great niece who loved the sweet coating on the grapes. Broccoli salad is my favorite with a vinegar base, cheese and bacon.Croissants were fresh and flaky. Couldn't ask for better.And of course to top it off were the Butter cream Frosted cookies. DELICIOUS!So if you looking for a light refreshing meal in Gulf Shores/Foley area, stop by Chicken Salad Chick and give them a try. You won't be disappointed."

"Love the original in New Orleans, but this one isn't as good. Everything was super salty, the jambalaya was dry, and the oysters were wildly uneven (some super small, so small they weren't even a whole bite). The service was great, the atmosphere was fun, but I wouldn't go back to this location."

"For the last 11 years, China Dragon has been our go-to for Chinese dinner takeout. It is small and has 3-4 tables but their primary business is takeout or delivery. I have never sat down to eat there. Our regular orders are the Fried Dumplings, Singapore Noodles with extra bean sprouts and spicy Cashew Chicken. Their fried handmade dumplings, though not great to look at, are always awesome with the sweet tangy dipping sauce. The portion of Singapore noodles serve as both dinner and lunch for work next day. My husband loves their cashew chicken. I'm also very fond of Mr. Hao Fu's roasted duck. I get a whole one every few months to debone its meat make Roasted Duck Tacos with julienned cucumbers, green onion sprigs hoisin sauce."

"I went to The Sloop with 6 people. I couldn’t have been happier with all aspects of our visit. I had a Bloody Mary that was pretty impressive. My partner and I both got the steak nachos, which neither he nor I regretted. You know how sometimes you get nachos and the toppings are just piled on top and there is nothing on the bottom chips? Yeah, not these! They were so good. Everyone in our group enjoyed their food. Our servers/bartenders were really cool. They were friendly and fun. We had a great time with them. As far as the establishment, it was everything a dive bar should be. It had such great energy. And bonus, there were police and other first responder patches hanging on the wall. As a group of off-duty police, fire, and EMS from all over the gulf coast region, we appreciated the support that The Sloop displayed. We will absolutely be back!"

"We always get food here and normally more than once every time we are at the beach. They are always very cordial and the food is always great. With the long wait times, ridiculous prices, and underwhelming staff at most of the restaurants, I have a hard time rationalizing going to most places anymore. The amount of quality food you can get here for the cost compared to the usual places is amazing. Plus, you get more beach time instead of sitting around wasting your time waiting on someplace to honor you with a seat. Thanks, guys. See you next time."
