"Lunchtime meal while on tour with VSV Tours (Valentin) Although we had a warm welcome service was good, without Valentin's input we might have struggled. We enjoyed starters of Grilled Goats Cheese and Watercress Soup, followed by Goat Meat in Sauce and Beef Meat in Sauce. Excellent food good value."

"As my Favorite Chef, the great Anthony Bourdain (RIP) used to say, Without experimentation, the willingness to ask questions and try new things, we will surely become static, repetitive and dying ... Thus we left our comfort zone in Playa de Santiago to delight ourselves with a wonderful dinner surprise with the friends of the Las Chacaras Restaurant.Without a doubt the best place to eat in La Gomera, surely in all the Canary Islands and the best in Spain, a gourmet tourist says it without exaggeration. From the entrees of grilled cheese with palm honey, the watercress stew, an Albacore so tasty that I haven 't been able to eat it in my own Chile, to a series of desserts that surprise you with flavors in the style of the best Michellin-starred restaurant from Madrid (and boy have we been to more than one... do yourself a favor and try the cheesecake or the Gofio Mousse), which with notorious respect and love for the product and local traditions surprise you and plunge you into a real gastronomic experience. Would I come back? I can 't wait for the moment to be able to return!
