"While visiting Hiawassee, GA, we stopped in this little diner. The service was really good. The server was friendly and fast. I'm a huge fan of country fried steak and eggs, so when i saw it on the menu, that's what I ordered along with a side of blueberry pancakes. Everything was good except the country Fried Steak. You could tell it came from the freezer. The pancakes had fresh blueberries in them and were delightful. I'd recommend stopping in on Fridays when they have live music :"

"Awesome food, generous portions, friendly service. We're here just for a weekend, but if we come back to town we'll go to Big Al's. I had the garlic Parmesan wings crispy, juicy, delicious). My daughter had the baked Ziti and was sad that she couldn't finish it because it was so good and had a really generous portion size. The rest of the family had the pizza and salad buffet and raved about how good it was. Oh, and they take cards now, too, not just cash."

"Ordered Pad Thai and it was just soggy vegies, noodles, a couple shrimp with a generic brown sauce. It wasn't Pad Thai at all. We asked about it and the server, who was very nice, said that's the way people in the town like it.Food: 2/5"

"This place has a delicious home cooked buffet. Wonderful, friendly staff also. We ate there 5 times while visiting the area and never had a bad meal or complaint. There were 3 of us. Buffet includes hot bar,salad bar, soup , homemade desserts and a drink for very reasonable price. This is not a upscale restaurant just good home cooked meals."
