"Service was terrible, waited forever! Food portions were tiny. Even my salad was 3 bites..Got the shrimp franchise it smelled fishy and only got 4 tiny shrimp and they were advertised as jumbo shrimp..I got it with angel hair and even the pasta was no more then a tiny serving...The pizza looked good maybe try that for takeout but never go back to the dining room Also very pricy especially for tiny servings.."

"I've been here about three times. Horrible food with absolutely no taste. This place tends to draw more of an older crowd (70+ , which isn't a problem but it's something you should be aware of if you plan on going here. I never really felt happy walking into La Bove either, I think the ambiance and the food made me feel kind of sad. Nothing too great here. Your neighborhood corner store is probably better for a bite to eat."

"Fast service, hot food, friendly host General Tso Chicken, good part, but I didn't get the meal special. sauce was sweeter versus spicy and not very crispy like other places. Sauce wasn't gooey so think maybe no MSG, but I didn't see that. Overall very delicious only not the usual recipe"

"It’s good to have a place close, even though it isn’t a very authentic dining room. There was only one table being used in their spacious dining area. I did ordering at the restaurant and took a seat. It took about 20 minutes for egg drop soup, pork fried rice, veggie lo mein and general tso chicken. Typical Chinese fair. I asked for very spicy general tso but it came out with ZERO heat, tasty but I was disappointed at the spice level. The egg drop soup has corn in it, I swear that’s a first for me. Great Chinese crackers-not home made but not those horrible rock hard crackers many people toss in your bag, I swear they are trying to get rid of them. The rest of the food was good and it’s consistent over the years. If you want an authentic experience I think you’ll like their food, just don’t expect the look to match the food."
