"In mid-February, it swallowed me back to the jewelry city on the lake. Why not even exchange the well-deserved educational sleep for a few sushi bits? So the culinary question I asked myself when driving the Koza the “mother” of all Palat Panasiates. In the meantime, the Asialaden depositors recorded in Speyer and Landau are well established – another is planned in Heidelberg. The success story from Haßloch is impressive and can be read in detail here at the GG. If round dough loads were issued for a fee (or a final fee of only 5 DM at the “Al Parco Times” (Al Parco Times), the raw fish has been sold in all conceivable variations since April 2018. In addition, Thai curries, Vietnamese Pho and “bun” rice noodles are used to make classics from the shell. View towards Theke, right into the kitchen Inside the well-designed guest room was not much left. Grey walls valent furniture The lunch business seemed to be done. Four students exchanged their respective study contents to the neighboring table about meaning and nonsense. Another loyalty polluted me “small”. Urban Ambience After testing my required degree of vaccination, a male service provided me with the rich food fable. Three lunch packages were restricted to the standard program that you can read on the clearly designed Koza homepage. As a late-returner, by the way, I was satisfied with the generous openness that only ends here at 3 p.m. On the first page the mentioned offer waited for lunch table. I had the choice between “Lord of Beef”, “Game of Sushi” and “Harry Potter and the Vegan of Askaban”. I don't know what "Chineasten" were responsible for half-creative greetings of lunch, but names are not only known in gastronomy sound and smoke. Behind the Ochsenmeister was the only hot main dish on the lunch card. Marinated Roastbeef with rice, soy sauce and wild herbs salad (11.20 euros) sounded quite neat. For sushi players there was an inner-out roll divided into 8 slices, which was previously filled with Tempura Garnele, Gurke and Fresh Cheese as well as the same number of salmon mascots for fair 12 euros. Those who prefer to go to the vegan Hogwarts can look forward to Mango, Gurke and Avocado Makis in 8 copies each. For 8.80 euros a completely fishless sushi experience for fin-conscientious agents. I was torn back and forth. On the one hand, I hadn't enjoyed sushi long. On the other hand, I was looking for something warm in my stomach. In mid-February cold fish does not necessarily have a high economy. I sat through the standard card and I was so satisfied with the idea of sowing on this lunch. A Thai noodle soup based on coconut milk was hidden under the digestive term “Digestion Thai”. Indigestion Thai In addition to vegetables, you can choose between chickens, shrimps, salmon and tofu to enrich the flavors refreshed with coriander and spring onions culinary. I chose the chicken variant for 6.50 euros before I was allowed to go to the “Game of Sushi” with the Chopsticks (which is known to be a craft... The Thai curry soup with chicken served me as an appetizer, while the sushi snacks were served later. The beverage question was almost answered by itself. During lunch, the small bottle of mineral water from the Aqua Morelli brand was included in the “Lunch Package”. The coconut vegetables soup with exactly the right dose of red curry paste with chicken puffs and rice noodles in Tagliatelle style was very pleasantly surprised. Thai noodle soup based on coconuts At first the terrines did not all fall out. I personally prefer it a little thinner. And then there was this charming scent of cumin, coriander and lemongrass. The trip to Landau was rewarded for it alone. Also the very present sharpness of my Thai soup convinced overall. No question, the contents of this bowl were undoubtedly heated, but did not leave a painful palate fire that made the protagonists float in her tastefully. This would not have been appropriate since broccoli and tube were perceived in a slightly bite-resistant consistency, while potatoes and rice noodles offered the first hunger paroli. With the fresh coriander – I love him! – the crispy feather on top as well as the juicy chicken small, the spoon dish had much to offer. Such a coherent matter – up to the smallest “dethail”. The Sushi Happen, built on an elongated oval, followed in time. The interiors that had been refreshed with a lot of salad cucumber – not only my favorite vegetables – were squeezed with many sauce sticks. A lunch called game by Sushi Chili Mayonnaise, Unagi and Mango Curry Dip made a very “surrected” company from my rice roll filled with fried shrimps. In Out with Tempuragarnele, Gurke and Fresh Cheese... and lots of sauce! Too bad, because both the acidified rice and its inner life were deprived of every opportunity of tasteful development. Fortunately, the Maaki filled with salmon was spared from the Saucen Overkill à la Koza. Lachsmakis, together with something dissolved in soy sauce and a little inlaid ginger, was not a creative sushi from the ever smiling opening counter, but the juicy Nori salmon bites was based at least on a solid “roll understanding”. The operation responded slightly irritated to my vague suggestion that perhaps a little more economical to treat with the spray bag in the future. I could have said I don't like sauces for sushi. Well, the principle “Weniger is more!” was never the top kitchen Credo in Koza. And an opulent Dip Saucen Graffiti is now a colorful tone for almost all panasiates. Perhaps, however, the use of heavy puddles could be noticed at least in the description of dishes in the menu. Or you'll leave them right away. Speaking of the way. Last lunch I wished the hungry service team a good appetite, because they could just try the staff dinner. Then I exchanged the urban chic grey of the Koza-Wanden for the cloudy February sky at the door. The formidable Thai soup had saved my day. The sushi experience fell a bit. Nevertheless, no inconvenience, as my good abdominal feeling confirms. Again, but then with less “Dipness” please..."

"In the last 10 years the Palatinate wine landscape has changed significantly and this development continues. And it is not just about the outstanding qualities that are achieved by mostly young, well-trained winemakers with the support of their experienced fathers. The muff of 1000 years was literally designed by the wine cellars. And wineries have come out, which are already very distinct from the parent company. The fact that the wine has to be presented and marketed better in the Palatinate has been a lot of use in recent years. And yes, wine tourism is booming, sometimes also to the suffering of locals, who can bathe the whole hype around grape juice with crowded wine festivals and elevated prices. But the popularity medal of local winemakers has not only pages. In the meantime the 40!!! Vinothekens, which are usually attached to their own winery and attract the wine or pick-up buyers. In the buildings, the various architectural offices have surpassed from the Pfälzerwand to the Rhine plain with regard to the embedding of objects into the vineyards of the Vorhügelzone. With high-quality materials, even regional building materials were used! like wood, glass, steel and concrete, these “shop windows of the Palatinate wine” were built in a strikingly straight and purist manner. In its contemporary design, most of these Vinotheques are characterized by a modern clarity in their shape and a warm brightness inside. Some were very cleverly integrated into the old building material, which led to an appealing, extremely exciting mix of history and modernity. So much of the introductory words had to be this time to better classify the value and background of the Vogeli winery, which was built over the roofs of Landau-Wollmesheim, in the middle or on the vineyard. Between the Wollmesheimer Rebzeile a really successful place of enjoyment was created. In a short period of construction only 18 months, a magnificent building complex became approx. 5000 square meters of area with production hall, barrel and bottle storage, distillery, a vinotheque for tasting and buying, five apartments, the private apartment of the Vogeli family as well as its own gastronomy, the so-called "WeinNest". And for about a year, the doors for refugees have been opened. The guest receives a very chic wine bistro, through whose large panoramic window the landscape is literally brought into the interior. At 50 seats on the weekend there is a “best operation”. Since the restaurant is completely open from Friday to Sunday on Wednesday and Thursday, only smaller snacks are offered for the glass of wine, there is an absolute requirement for reservations, especially if one of the places you are looking for on the large sun terrace also wants to reach around 50 seats. Granted, we wanted it when we broke up there last night. I've already asked if there's something free. The friendly service girl on the phone just advised me to come and first take a place inside. There'll be something out there, so you O-Ton. Sayed – done! We are standing on a warm summer evening in front of the massive wooden entrance door. Oak wood from the region. From it are also the floor and the space-dividing “wine columns” that perfectly put the liquid main actors in the scene. The sun terrace I saw from the outside was occupied to the last place. Some tables were free. Due to the great urge, some tables were “stored” so that the kitchen and the service do not completely turn through. We were offered a place near the simple white area. The view through the coming kitchen door revealed: there was something wrong. I could count on the eight service staff and over so many who helped in the kitchen. And in the midst of Christel Vögeli, the houseman who actively supported her girls in flight. We sat in a sort of “Tresentisch”. It consisted of only one oak board and was attached to one side of the white plaster wall, while on the other side it was held by a steel rope hanging on the ceiling. So a table without legs, free flowing and as light as the view outside, which stretched over the vine hills and stretched on the mountains of the nearby Palatinate forest. And if the sun would disappear behind these mountains, we wanted to live outside on the terrace with this spectacle – that was the plan. Our service assured me that as soon as something happens outside, it would inform me immediately and we could then replace our window for a free sky. But we also liked our first “station”. In the WeinNest, the generally customary, quite unpleasant stools were dispensed with and here, as well as the normal seats, well-padded seats were set. Equipped with side and back, a really comfortable thing. On the bare table top, the cutlery packed in napkins was very unpretentious beside the simply designed, foldable foods and beverage cards. Some fresh rose flowers float in a water bowl. Otherwise there was one thing on this table: plenty of space! The first page of the carefully created menu gave the seasonal recommendations. As “Summer Lecks” there were pig-back steak, cream puffs with semmelknödel and a cherry crumb for dessert. There was a small salad with both main dishes. The long-term offer was also clear. Salmon and Anti Pasti were the appetizers, in between it was a soup before going on with the main dishes, such as the obligatory rag steak with onions or herbal butter, as well as roast potatoes for a surcharge of 2 euros or the Tagliatelle with crabs or fried zander. In addition to a handful of vegetarian classic sheep cheese, white cheese, cheese spet and two desserts, the selection in WeinNest was a well sorted food repertoire where every taste is actually served. The prices are slightly above the vineyard level, but for the view you pay that. From our last, very tasty Paprikacrèmesuppet at the “Pfälzer Freude Fraction” in Hainfeld, we ordered them this time at the front. For 5,50 euros, the really well seasoned snack was served in a large coffee cup. From consistency beautiful alloy without wanting to apply too thick. In addition, a small round of Basilikum Pesto swims. The white bread slices were freshly crisp, which on Sunday night is not self-evident. A successful start. The fact that the crowded guests do not go so fast with food is a pleasure to forgive because the efforts of the WeinNest team to satisfy the guests are always noticeable. On the recommendation of the friendly service lady I chose a delicious fresh, well-cooled Sauvignon blanc for 4.80 euros the generously gifted neighborhood. My accompaniment chose from the aperitif to offer a Riesling champagne for 3 Euro 0.1 l. We didn't do anything wrong. Winzermeister Dirk Vögeli, who took over the parent company in 2000, does not make quality compromises in his wines and that is tasty. The division by estate, local and location wines gives the guest a good overview of this rising quality climate. Then the small salad, which was contained in my pork steak with pepperlings, late zle and burgundy sauce, was served in front. There was nothing to complain about. A delicious dressing based on raspberry vinegar, some herb and beet salad, hidden under green and red leaves lion tooth, rocket and Lollo Rosso. My accompaniment had ordered a salad as a main dish. Her salad plate “WeinNest” additionally had a nice part of sharply fried beef teas €12.80 and was served with fresh baguette. A decent, fresh summer dinner, directly to enjoy it on the outdoor terrace with sunset. In the meantime a table had become free, the service held his word! and we had our stand or stand. Seat in short distance. You're so beautiful! My back steak came at the same time with the salad and a dry 2015 Chardonnay wine 5.80 euros for the quarter should be appropriate. The record looked promising. Fresh seedlings surrounded the very juicy steak of the back of the pig, provided with a delicately seasoned herbal marinade. This piece of meat was not a mass commodity that was cost. Maybe it even came from the local gourmet factory Joachim? I forgot to ask. Well balanced and beautifully allied also the Burgundy sauce, which is slightly fragrant after red wine, which stood in a small extra bowl with on the oval plate. Together with meat juice, steakmarinade and well seasoned peppers, this led to a tasteful, extremely harmonious aroma time that staged the juice boar congenially without stealing the show. In combination with the late Zle in butter, this was really a dish of the best regional farmhouse cuisine, which is best served with simple ingredients. And the cool Chardonnay just fits perfectly. When the sun disappeared behind the mountains of the Palatinate forest and the cool dawn collapsed slowly, the outer area of the “WeinNestes” was also slowly empty. Then we also came in pause mood and decided spontaneously to lead a small path of digestion through the vineyards between Landau-Wollmesheim and Mörzheim. What I have to do with the title of this, you can forgive me would be a flowering review."

"General We had a college meeting and tonight a festive 3-course menu was announced. Service The Persaonal was friendly and attentive. Orders were quickly received and served. Recommendations for wines have been delivered in detail. Used dishes were removed immediately. I ordered the following menu: Save cream soup and sporal salad, roasted Chars on Risotto, Panna Cotta with pineapple and Mascara ice cream. The asparagus soup corresponded to my expectations, rather than the asparagus salad. There was no taste here. The fried car and the risotto were good, but nothing special. The dessert was optically fine, but here too it was lacking taste. Overall, it was an attempt to serve a festive meal. However, the result has failed. The surroundings were comfortable and corresponded to a typical conference hotel. There was no festive atmosphere. The table decoration was not appropriate to the occasion, the decoration with plastic flowers corresponded to the level. The ventilation of the room was bad. Cleanliness in the restaurant was good. The toilets were in a very good condition with an above-average equipment and very clean."

"It was too long for us to come to the Landauer “Messe Inder” last time. Neither my wife nor I had had a good reason for it, and so we could not really explain our abstinence that the sympathetic owner Dhaliwal Sarabjit Singh has perceived. We didn't have to, because the always seductive principle was very pleased to welcome us back to the Red Chillies. Also the young female service, which actively supported her boss this evening and served us later, made a very friendly impression. After a warm welcome we occupied one of the few still free tables on the outside terrace. Mr. Dhaliwals I was impressed by the memory of the name, but I was very welcome. And that after so long. Respect. It was a so-called “spontaneous return” that met us on the warm Thursday evening in the district of Landauer Messe. Shopping in the nearby “Futterhaus” – the always hungry, gray fur Pascha waited in front of his empty bowl laboriously at home – was well compatible with our desire for Indian cuisine. Especially for guests who take the car on the way to the “red pods”, the relaxed parking situation in front of the house is a reason to stop here. One aspect, by the way, that I have already noticed during my last review five years ago – my God, how time passes! – and that the restaurant, which is also at home, has given us a pharmacy in the part of a larger service complex, several promotional practices and various companies are here also at home. In the Red Chillies, guests are looking for delicacies from the North Indian state of Punjab. And even if the owner and service manager came from Mumbai. Known Indian cuisine probably know that the much milder dishes from the north of the 1.3 billion republic are more intended for the European palate than the snipers from the south of the country. When the food program dominated by chicken, lamb, fish, chickpeas, potatoes and lenses, I did not notice any significant changes to the last visit. However, I came in decision making with the rich selection of appetizers. Also the chicken, lamb, sea and tandooris specialities offered in various facilities and sharpness did not really facilitate the choice of the main dish. Whether this was really prepared for “ayurvedic recipes” as it was written on the map – I cannot judge. But apart from their healing effect, they would certainly offer a pleasant saturation. I knew so much about previous visits. Oh, how wonderful is eating under the open sky in general and it was special here. The not particularly cozy interior of the restaurant – if you want to be the only real weakness – stayed outside or better this evening: at the front. Instead we sat on the terrace with chest-high bamboo bushes and left a bottle of Teinacher mineral water 0.75l for 3.90 euros through the dry throats. The outdoor terrace Following the motto “Guat – bessa – Baulaner” a freshly tapped Paulaner Pils 0.4l was added for 3.30 euros. So our thirst was a stop. Paneer or Panir is the Indian fresh cheese, which is also very easy to produce and makes itself particularly good in aromatic curry dishes. Tonight he was on our table twice. First, three “Paneer Pakora Nuggets” baked in rapeseed oil were served 4,10 Euro together with Roti Fladenbrot, 2,70 Euro, fragrant in Bockshornklee. With almost everything and sauce The thin, smooth fluffy bread slices were coated with some butter and folded together. Mehti di Roti The warm dough pieces baked from whole grain flour were already a delicate impression. In combination with the cherry baked Pakoras, the fruity pirate Tamarind Dip and the sweet Mango Curry sauce there was an uncomplicated but very tasty form of Indian finger foods. Paneel Pakora And there was also the yogurt dip with small chickpeas called “Boondi Raita” 3 euros, which our appetizer program completed tonight. Boondi Raita The great synthesis of fruit sweets, Pakora spices, bock horny aroma and yogurt youth mite tasted more than just the cross valley of its components. We leaned back and waited for the filled copper shells that we would soon put on the already rich little buds. Then it really became “vindy”, because the “ chicken” I had ordered was picnic – the expression “sharf” would probably be somewhat exaggerated – Vindaloo sauce equipped 12 euros. A scent of cumin, cardamom and coriander flew to me. The butterfly chicken pussies in yogurt latent reminds of plaster, only much softer in the texture. Chicken Vindaloo Some potatoes were also fought in the spicy tuna made from the Portuguese part of India's 16. The national court of the court was formed primarily. In addition to the fenced rice leaf and the rest of the yogurt sauce Raita, this was a sauce that was filled up to the lower corners with taste, whose defensive vehemence took the palate, but at the same time also in the aftertaste of subtle flavors. Vindy and friends The cool Paulaner fits this hearty classic. The "Palak Paneer" also showed 10.50 euros, which my wife could taste. In this North Indian specialty, fresh cheese was roasted with chopped leaf spinach, onions, tomatoes and various spices. Her vegetarian dish also had enough aromatic strength and freshness. There was no tofu isolated boredom in the copper tile, but a veggie classic from the Indian “Suppkontinent” with a vigilant spicy hand created. Palak Paneer jump! At the beginning of September I went to Landau at 12 noon. A return to Red Chillies seemed to be the best of all possible lunches. Even the smell of lentil soup refreshes 3,50 euros with a piece of lemon justified my spontaneous visit. The Dalmatian soup The flat bread with homeopathic minced meat filling called “Keema Nan” 4 Euro, which accompanied my appetizer soup but robbed my saturation at an early rate. Kema Nan with the “CTM” Chicken Tikka Masala, I had 12,50 euros to fight. Coriander or Thanks Ginger, I won this even if I had to leave part of the spicy Masala sauce in the copper bowl. CTM Red Chilli Art Conclusion: If Indians in Landau, then actually only in Red Chillies. We do not want to visit Landaus’s latest Indian, who excludes “Seven Spices” in the city. Our culinary curiosity will let us be careful sometime. Until then the “Messe Inder” reaches us in many ways. A warm service, a relaxed parking situation and a dish-free kitchen let us overlook smaller furniture. Happy again – more often"

"Food was ok, only 1 person could speak English and made error on our order. Then we were told that we could only pay cash and only had the total amount without the receipt. The owner told us quite aggressively that we can only receive the detailed receipt after payment hopefully we had enough cash. Food was ok though even if past was over-cooked and a lot of choices nice wine card. Also it was very hot and no air conditioning inside. Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3"

"In my report on the “Sapori d’Italia” in the Trappengasse, I mentioned the high density of good Italian restaurants in Landau. Now a new pizzeria with delivery service has been added to the Weißquartierplatz since last summer. Instead of the former Sunday roast in the “Schleuse” the previous restaurant, which is operated by two girls who offer a German cuisine like mothers, is now served Italian dishes in the “Pinocchio”. To take it immediately: It does not reach the well-known Landauer Italo benchmarks such as “Da Rocco”, “Amici” or “Sapori d’Italia”. Regardless of the quality of food, neither ambience or service. But perhaps this is not the claim of the operators. But always nice to turn. My colleague, as a result of the closure of his favorite Italian “Da Domenico” from Rheinstraße, sought a replacement lunch table for pasta and pizza. The “Piccola Italia” was probably too boring for him in the long term, so he took care of alternatives. With the “Pinocchio” he became foolish. There he tasted the pizza excellent and he expressed his praise over the PLV. This smells like a recommendation and so we went on a Sunday night after the first visit. Street Food Markets in Landau, which I honestly said, made little appetite for the White Quarter where the pizzeria lies. From the outside, the "Pinocchio" has a somewhat overlaid effect, some slate plates with opening hours and day offers coverage of the roller shutters. The window panes are also described with the respective preferred openers: “Monday: Nudel, Tuesday: Pizza,...usw.” There would be less sure more, but you probably need to advertise with low prices to inform yourself. There were little changes. I still know the visible wooden beams on ceiling and wall from “sleep times”. The 30 seats estimated on a dining room with size are still the central element of the guest room. The clean decoration of the last days was a rather sober outfit of the tables. Separate prints on canvas try to bring some color to the local. Unfortunately, the golden cross mirror was also used for advertising purposes “Monday: Noodle, Tuesday: Pizza,...usw.” A few wall areas brushed in Rich Italo-Rot seem quite inappropriate for the otherwise quite rustic decor, expressed in the form of simply held, light wood furniture. The friendly, but from the start to culinary people in the service was good enough for us the menus. We were the only guests at the time, and later another couple came. Not much on a Sunday night. Beverage order, a small apple juice choir 0.2 l for fair 1.80 Euro and a large cyclist 0.5l , was recorded and put into effect quite timely. We were greeted from the kitchen with two slices of Bruschetta, which is rather rare with the Italian. The menu included the usual appetizer suspects of Italian or Mediterranean handwriting: various salads Nice, Italia, Caprese, Frutti di Mare, Bruschetta, baked sheep cheese and grilled peperoni. All at prices around 5 and 6 euros. On the map I have offered 20 different pizzas in two sizes. The price difference between small and large was 1.50 euros for each pizza. Here, too, an old known person receives in the form of common pizza pads. Only the "Pizza Dolce" with Nutella and almonds probably thought when dessert came from the usual offer. I'm pretty skeptical about the taste of this combination. In addition, a good dozen pasta dishes, a few flame cakes and 5 carving variants are offered either by turkey or pig. Smaller dishes, such as curry or bratwurst, are also available. In my opinion, there is a little too much tribute to the German hunger for meat dishes. Although demand seems to be in demand, there would be more profile sharpness in Italian cuisine. They do not go to a craftsmanship in a wine bar, at least not in the Palatinate. The maritime group is also represented with Scampi, Calamari and Lachs. A remarkable range offered in the “Pinocchio”. Hopefully, this is not at the expense of product innovation. We ordered an Italian salad 6.50 Euro as an appetizer, made with a housewear based on cream vinegar. The individual components were fresh. The cooking ham and cheese strips were rolled together in a spiral, the portion size also went well. Something disturbed me by the excessive use of dressing. It would have been less actually more, especially as its strong taste burys the other salad offerings in the truest sense of the word. The optically nice scattering sprinkled the tomatoes, because with it a correct dosage was hardly possible. Looks not everything, I thought. Then the great “Pizza Diavola” I ordered came 7 euros with Peperoni sausage, egg and mild peperonis. I liked to invest the 50-cent supplement for the Bolognese sauce as an additional coating. It was nicely juicy, from the earth a little thicker, so more “napoletana” than “romana” and had a tidy cover on it. Unfortunately, it was probably a bit too long in the oven, which is why the floor fell slightly too dark. The “diabolic” sharpness also made her miss something. Otherwise it was tasteful in the satisfactory area. The “Spaghetti Salmone” €7,50 of my accompaniment were not served with a cream sauce as usual. Here too, a little less salt would not have damaged the tomato soup, so it felt before laughing. For the price, of course, TK-Lachs, which dry quickly during cooking, which was unfortunately also the case here. The sauce also had a little too much cartilage for my feeling, but this is a question of opinion because my accompaniment seemed to mouth the pasta dish. As a result, the realization remains that for the “Pinocchio” due to the diversity of the top Italians in and around Landau it will certainly be difficult to happen. Perhaps the idea with the delivery service is the right way, because even good average pizzas find their sale at reasonable prices. As a really serious pizzeria, however, I lack the special – both on the plate and on the whole package. Only over the price and with so-called days of action will the audience stay there in the long term, so my fear."
