"Magog has done an outstanding job in tastefully developing their lake shore. During warmer weather the restaurant offers outside seating at the top of the lake just off the walk and bike path. We enjoy an occasional meal here during excellent weather. Last week was no exception where we enjoyed unseasonably warm weather, a nice breeze, outstanding fall colors along the lake and the hustle and bustle of people enjoying one of the last vestiges of fall.The menu is diverse and great for an outside venue, the help very cordial and the atmosphere outstanding. A great place to come to relax and enjoy life on a pleasant afternoon."

"We`ve been on a Friday night, they had an unheard of promotion of 50% off on bottles of wines. So we went all the way for a 104$ St-Julien only to pay half of that!! I had some foie gras that was absolutely the best I had in years. Great fish and steaks too. The service was perfect also. Nice ambiance, modern, covered terrace, nice bathrooms. Give it a try, highly recommended (specially on a Friday night)."

"First note that this place is on Sherbrooke street and not on main street as said by the previous poster. It is a typical fast food joint with fries, hot dogs, burgers and poutine. Some think it is the best in Magog but it is nothing special. I do prefer their fries to those at Chez Paul. They possibly change their oil more often."

"Our group of 4 had reserved for a Saturday evening but the place was quiet and didn’t need reservations. This small restaurant is cozy and the one person greeting and serving was quite friendly and helpful but distracted. The food was way below expectations. The...restaurant markets itself as a French restaurant but the quality is not there. They have a “table d’hôte” option including entrée, soup and main meal plus coffee or tea and the options are numerous. The chef’s suggestion was a chicken ballottine. My friend and I both ordered this dish thinking it would be fresh and high quality. We also ordered an entrée of grilled mussels with Parmesan. I mentioned intolerance to onions and garlic and asked if the chef could do the mussels with butter only and Parmesan. I was told no problem, it was all made to order and he would put butter and parmesan only. The dish came with garlic anyway and I was given a story about their garlic is non irritant because of the way it is cooked. I found this very disrespectful especially after I had been told garlic was not to be used for my plate. The main dish of chicken was prepared with chicken thighs, fatty and even a small bone included in mine. A lot of flavours but very low quality. The dishes were cold and we had to request a reheat. Pork cheeks and pork scallops ordered by the others in our group were good but also not warm enough. In conclusion, a quite disappointing dining experience and definitely not worth your money. We won’t go back."

"Pros: the food is good and has many options, people are friendly , clean environment. Cons: Services is slow , kitchen is very slow (took 1hr 20m for food to arrive), it’s usually okay but with young kids it’s not ideal . Finally: this is...only relevant during the Covid-19 era, but tables are very close to each other."
