"Personally, I liked the kutchay dumplings, which are filled with lots of chopped green vegetables and juicy ground pork mixed with Chinese celery and other spices."

"Big big fan of Japanese food! The only downside is that it can be a bit expensive. While it applies to most of the Japanese restaurants I know (except Tokyo Tokyo), Yamazaki is proof that Japanese cuisine can be cheap yet authentic. Yamazaki is a hole in the wall restaurant in Little Tokyo Makati. It looks like a restaurant outside, but when you step inside its doors you will be surprised that the first thing you would see is the grocery store that sells Japanese products.

What I like about the hotel is that it serves good Japanese food with huge portions but for a cheaper price. I think it has something to do with the cost of the interior (design of the whole) so it's not as expensive as the others.

I love the food and everything about it, but what I don't like is the ambience and other waitresses who are a bit "rude". All in all, everything is more than ok ????"

"At first glance, the food may look expensive. But let me tell you, it's worth it! I ordered the pork tenderloin set meal. I loved that the rice and cabbage shreddings were refillable! There was also miso soup included plus some fruit. My hungry tummy and katsu cravings were definitely satisfied!

+ Staff were attentive and friendly.
+ The place looked a little worn out but it was peaceful anyway. You'll forget it when they serve you the food."

"A delightful find as this place is located right beside my favorite spa. I was not able to try their ramen (not a ramen fan!) But sampled their appetizer dishes.

If any tips, just buy the appetizers! :) They are reasonably priced and with awesome serving size! I bought great tasting mabo tofu for a stral at P160 -- huge, huge serving :) Bought gyoza but didnt enjoy them. Too oily and they "disintegrated" because they are over steamed.
"

"I ordered in this restaurant of honestbee delivery service. it was pretty fast. concerning eating, I ordered the go solo gyudon rice, icy and coffee gelly. I love her gyudon. the bark was chewing and the sauce is in order. it tasted like the gyudon of karate kid. what the coffee jelly, it was a false advertising because I got a coffee rtiramisu instead. I don't think this is another version of coffee jelly. but in give them, as I really satisfied with their gyudon and their portion size was great enough to fill my very hungry bauch."

"Ordered:

Mantou bread - this is my favorite place for mantou bread. Just wish it was bigger.

Corn soup - it's okay. Had blobs of oil on the top when it was served.

Ceral prawns - wish the shrimp was bigger. It was finished in 4 bites and left me hungry still.

Steamed dory - tastes plain and clean, just the way I like it. Comes with tofu underneath. Order this if you're being health conscious.
"

"I gotta hand it to Wabi-Sabi for being that cool spot at the Collective to serve vegan versions of popular asian dishes. Their Tom Yum noodles, Pot Stickers and Pho are SO GOOD and all-vegan; the Tom Yum and Pho being a crazy, aromatic, tasty mess of herbs and noodles. The Pot Stickers are filled with mushrooms (shiitake I think).

They fall short on attempting to recreate pork dishes, however. Their Bahn Mi meat tasted savory-sweet, and their shio ramen was a saltier version of their pho, with veggie meat as a poor substitute for chashu pork. It tasted great, it just didn't taste like ramen.

Don't get me wrong, I loved this place and would definitely go back, but only for their Pot Stickers and Tom Yum."

"We rented a place nearby and wanted to eat dinner within the area. I suggested to check the Collective and we found Wabi-Sabi. The food that they serve are vegetarian meals.

It was indeed a good choice! No guilt noodle soup! I ordered tomyum while my dad had viet pho. My mom and brother had tantanmen. We ordered those three because the others were not available. We also added harumaki for sharing. At first, we just ordered one harumaki until we ordered another and then another one! It was very flavorful and chewy. It's like fried tekamaki. The tomyum is sour, not much of a fan for the veggies that tasted odd but I enjoyed it especially the tofu and other cold cuts. The viet pho was like my tomyum except that it wasn't sour and had different toppings. I like the noodles used for tomyum and viet pho which was chewy. A different noodle compared to that of famous Chinese and Japanese cuisine. The tantanmen is sesame oil based so it's for people who like that kind.... read more"
