"This is the kind of place where you can 't wait to tell your friends, but they tell you they have this great restaurant they can 't wait to tell YOU about, and it turns out to be the same place! Prices are so low I wonder how they can make any money. Portions are authentic and more than generous. Take out is available, too. Abundant menu selections. Recommended: Hot and sour soup. It is the best I have ever had and many people say that, too. It 's loaded with veggies, shrimp, tofu, etc. If you get a bowl, be prepared to share it, because they serve a lot. I also liked the squid (OK, calamari for those who cringe at the name squid and the various Chow Mein offerings. Be careful where you sit, as sometimes off to the right-hand side, there can be a draft when the door opens. Feel free to bring your own favorite chop sticks, but if you don 't have any, they will have some of the generic ones for you."

"Everything here is delicious! Their Orange chicken is amazing, the sizzling rice soup is to die for and the Chicken wings are always a hit with our family. We always come here to celebrate birthdays and just for a casual meal to sit down or take out. I brought leftovers home to my dad once when my mom was out of town, knowing he wouldn't have cooked anything, and he ate everything! He tends to be very picky when it comes to Chinese food, so for him to eat everything speaks major volumes. Keep up the wonderful service and cooking beautiful food Ho Wah!"

"Been here twice. So far, consistently good and filling.I forget what I ordered is called (pictured) but it is incredibly good. I've tried both the beef and pork options, and they didn't miss.Staff was friendly."

"So I eat eat here about 3x a week and historically the food and portion sizes are great. The service is a bit rushed and they tend to talk over the top of you and repeatedly interrupt you when you're trying to order... no big deal. But tonight the owner kind of pissed me off. I don't mind paying $19 for a bowl with 3 scoops of assorted fish plus a helping of crab and toppings. But they appear to have started overloading the bowls with rice and toppings, and don't think the customers are noticing that're grabbing just a couple pieces of each fish instead of a full serving scoop, and hiding it under the sauce toppings. I hope this is not the direction they're heading, because up until now they've been a great regular stop off for me multiple times per week."

"Nothing better than supporting local business especially my hometown. Taking my family to visit my hometown. Haven't been back for so long. I live in OC and literally feels like there are poke businesses at every other plaza. Stop by this place and I was blown away. The fishes were so fresh and the place was very clean. What stands out was the exceptional customer service; the minute I walk in, the people behind the plexy glass acknowledged me right away. I felt very welcome. They were very patience with my indecisive self. Most definitely will come back of I'm back in town. Price was very competitive with the perfect amount and blast of flavors with every bite!. ."
