"Summer visit, late review. I ordered from the early evening menu. All the food was absolutely delicious, probably some of the best Indian food in Newcastle. The staff are lovely as well and are helpful with dietary requirements. Highly recommend the mango lassi as well"

"We booked a table for a friend's birthday. We arrived on time and had to wait 15 minutes to be seated. We understood that restaurant was busy but the attitude of the bar staff was appalling. They were disinterested and more concerned with table bookings and time slots rather than taking care of their customers in front of their eyes. After 10 minutes of trying to make eye contact and get one of the staffs attention, she looked at me and spoke to me like I was an inconvenience. When I eventually ordered drinks and paid for them it took a further 10 minutes and 2 further enquiries as to where the drinks were . I was then told responded to in a sharp prickly tone. When our table was ready, we got told we could sit. We didn't get shown over. We ordered drinks at the table and the lady who served us spilt a drink all down the back if that birthday girls dress. She was clearly very embarrassed and apologied profusely. However we weren't offered any gesture of good will or anything to demonstrate an apology. Unfortunately the girl with the headphone was stressed and struggling to cope and made no attempt at disguising her frustration and stress. The gentleman at the ba with dread locks was disinterested with poor customer service. There was a young lady with glasses who served and cleaned the tables and she was much better. I observed her reassuring that lady wearing the headphones several times and despite how busy they restaurant was ,she appeared to take it in her stride and get on with the task in hand. In all honesty that way we were treat put us off completely. The food was ok but I wouldn't return based on the chaos and attitude of the staff."

"Staff were helpful when identify what could be made vegan, they checked with the chef to be sure. The food was extremely boring and bland 3/10. Most of the vegetable options can be made vegan."

"We went there last Saturday. The food was nice but we waited 1 hour for it. During that hour we didn't really feel anybody was looking after ourselves, just had to keep trying to constantly get their attention for more drinks etc... My kids were getting really hungry...when we finished the food and we were about to leave we realised the waitress had accidentally spilled an oily sauce in the back of my sons puffer coat and all over the floor...we mentioned it to the staff and I couldn't believe how passive they were about it as if there was nothing to do with them...I washed the coat at home but it was so oily that will have to go to the dry cleaners...I will definitely not go back, mainly for the staff attitude."
