"Located on the top floor of Macquarie Centre, the Loft Cafe offers seating both inside the cafe as well as a dedicated area in the middle of the shopping centre. I only ordered an iced frappe so hard to rate but the frappe was made from real fruits and the service was friendly. Look forward doing a proper review when I order some food too."

"Everything here is done at SUCH a high quality. Perfection. Though it is very easy to rack up quite a high bill and there was some overcharging on our bill but they rectified that so no problems."

"This is only in regards to the service today not towards the ramen (ramen is still my fave, but I am questioning their cooking process now because of today 's service): What in the world happened to the service of this particular Ippudo?! We have been coming here for ages and today we were shocked at the following: the on floor manager was just randomly yelling non meaningful words scaring customers left and right there were so many open tables and yet tables were not cleared in time and when customers were still eating/chatting waiters would stick their arms in between and grab bowls... the servers were clearly not aware of very high standards of service required at Japanese restaurants, yelling across the restaurant at each other and not giving a crap for customers this would be absolutely appalling for the founder Shigemi Kawahara, who founded this chain ramen shop based on the highest of standards! the background music was also like Latin rap... not that I have anything against Latin music or rap, but come on... this is a high standard Japanese ramen chain! Seriously what is going on Ippudo! So disappointed!"

"First, the restaurant has moved exclusively to order by the app. While this worked well, they could only pay with credit card for which they forced them to pay a surcharge. there was no possibility to pay by cash or any other method. to avoid hits (we even asked on the counter). this was never really a cheaper place to eat, but now they have increased the prices again. some rams have now broken the $30 barrier. this is surprising, since ritters are traditionally cheaper Japanese food. the decor has aged, the half of the tables are outside, where the buses scream past, and the overall feeling is no longer premium. when we arrived, the employees were eager to sit down, even on a common table. when we had ordered, they asked us to come back to another table so that a large group that just showed up could sit where we were. as soon as we set ourselves for the second time, the employees even took all our left chairs and gave them to others. we noticed that the large group has not even recorded the whole original. the food arrived quickly, but so quickly that the rugs were left in the middle of our table to find out which rugs were for whom. Luckily, we were able to keep the employee for a few seconds only for them to quickly wipe out what was one of the courts so that we could diners process of remediation to find out the rest. overall, quite disappointed with the culinary experience. especially considering the many other Japanese restaurants close by with better service and lower trips. I even left starving, although I just spent $30 on a bowl of noodles."
