"The location sets you up for a nice evening. The service is impeccable. The food is on par with not spectacular. All in all you will spend a nice evening at this sprawling resort tucked away in a mountainside village. We had the rack of lamb and the pork and clams dish. Both quite satisfying. Starters of salad and soup just so so. Enjoy the views and decent dining."

"Authentic Portuguese cuisine. We went there with two Portuguese friends. The food was amazing. We will definitely return. The Ovos de Choco (cut fish eggs) were amazing. In the late evening the place flourished."

"Many tourists claim to try the "real portugal" including the food. therefore I would definitely recommend this restaurant to them. the esbereich itself could no longer be “typical” with the constantly existing TV screens that show football. long tables, most of them booked...for Saturday night and general anonymity. we arrived early and waiters were very polite. our dinner was simple local farewell, truthahn and steak, as well as a starter of delicious olive and cold cuts/cheese. we had dinner too and I got the dessert of the house, already at another place tried that a very creamy, art of caramel mousse with whipped cream. not for all, but already once in the time. once we were ready to go, the place was filled with native, very loud, very unkozy, with more people (all related or know each other) coming in the minute. I felt we crashed a local party and were happy to go. in short: good eating at a decent price, OK service, total lack of atmosphere and they get their average local experience."

"This place is truly amazing. Basically a take-away, with some chairs and tables for the lunchtime crowd. It serves stunning, home-cooked Portuguese cuisine at ridiculously cheap prices, and with really nice friendly people behind the counter. The menu is wide-ranging (a soup; eight or so main dishes; dessert etc., and drinks for those eating in) and changes every day so you know it is all freshly cooked. We were staying not far away, and looked in out of curiosity. Glad we did. Portions, by the way, are enormous, even by Portuguese standards. One 'dose 'or portion of cod gave two main meals for two and a light tapa the next day. This is a place not to miss. Easy to find on the road from Quelfes into Olhao, and 100m from the EN125."
