"Though this restaurant has many excellent reviews, we were very disappointed by the food we were served. Of course, taste is subjective. Mixing textures and flavors is adventuresome. In our two plates, the results were not happy. The maqueral had too much vinegar and was...disruptive on our palette. The crunchy tuna dish was a type of nem, very greasy with a teaspoon of tuna in the two wrappers. The half daurade was so fried that it lost it 's inherent taste and instead became a generic fried crunchy frish. The accompanying vegetables were far from harmonious with the rest of the plate. Texture was disrupting and taste was at odds. A disappointing experience, especially in view of the reviews we read here."

"This is my fave restaurant. absolutely fabulous salmon, scallops and crabcakes. the wine was excellent. our desserts were decadent, a chocolate truffle type of ding and a lemon cream cake. service was exemplary. I thought eating was quite expensive for what we received, and the portions were generous, but not great. an exception was the special sole with garnel. it was a very great delicious meal. even though a fairer price, dinner was not cheap...about $100/person up to the time we start two and a glass wein added to our table of 4. the price is available at a “sometimes” or special occasion experience."

"This restaurant was a wonderful surprise. Right in the center of historic Pézenas, this restaurant serves wonderful, creative food. The service was friendly and very attentive. We got excellent recommendations for food and wine. Everything is grown in France and they use only local products....No prefab/industrialized food here! Everything is made from scratch. It looks beautiful on the plats and tastes delicious. We will definitely go back soon."

"4 of us visited this restaurant while on holiday.The food was very good quality and packed full of flavour. Very reasonably priced too.We had to sit inside as it was raining and the only slight complaint was the lack of a/c or fans as it was very warm.Still the food is what matters and that was fab.Well worth a visit if you are holidaying here and the spice urge overcomes you."

"We ate on the terrace of this small restaurant directly on the main square on a Monday afternoon when many of the shops and other restaurants were closed. At first we had a few reservations, since no one else had eaten when we arrived, but the place soon began to fill with good ground. the Prawn-Starter was delicious, as the sea bass with Mediterranean vegetables, followed while the chocolate ravioli for dessert was a manifestation. four of us ate from the fixed price menu and enjoyed each cursor. we also enjoyed the bill that arrived at nearly 100 euro inclusive drinks. for the ambiente, the friendly service and the quality of eating we would return like a shot. highly recommended!"

"A wonderful little place at Rue de Conti in Pézenas. Super friendly and attentive hostess who explained the map very accurately. There is only the possibility to choose the main dish or to choose an appetizer and/or a dessert in addition. The food is excellent. Mousse au Chocolat is a dream by the way.
