"We had the pleasure of ordering a 5 course meal specially selected by Chef Dylan and were absolutely blown away by his attention to detail, the flavors, and presentation of each platter. It was the perfect set of courses for two on our date night and the chef himself walked out to our table each time to hand serve and explain each dish. What a wonderful experience you wouldn't expect in Pottstown lol.Craig was our server and bartender for the night and he was incredible too! Just the right amount of conversation and gave his own personal recommendation for our drinks and sake, and he was spot on based on what we explained we wanted. The mark of somebody truly experienced.Both individuals were incredible kind, well mannered and spoken, and the food honestly spoke for itself. If you do come, order the brown butter cake for dessert. Its the best thing Pennsylvania has to offer.Vegetarian options: The chef himself is vegetarian and did an incredible job on even the vegetarian course!Parking: Parking nearby building out back! Its a huge lot."

"This place doesn't even deserve a 1 star review. My boyfriend and I decided to try a new place for wings. I googled restaurants in Pottstown and found Old Philadelphia Public House. It looked like a nice place with a huge selection on their menu. My boyfriend ordered two dozen wings with hot sauce. When they came out they literally looked like the bones cooked in sauce. They had absolutely no meat on them. They were dry and looked as if they were cooked and reheated. His sauce was not hot and it was sweet. I ordered their build your own burger. It was just plain ground beef with no seasoning and I ordered an onion ring, bacon and pickle on top and medium well. It was the most dried out burger I have ever had. Even the onion ring wasn't any good. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I do have to give them a little credit though. The french fries were very good and we also had the baby neck clams which were also very good but the meal as a whole was absolutely terrible. Was planning on sitting at the bar and having a few drinks but after the terrible food decided it was time to go."

"Everyone was so friendly and the place was quite full inside. go back and enjoy the ambiente. I just love an outside terrace deck with small white lights. the jukebox was a little expensive, but it had the biggest songs on it so that we were satisfied. at this visit we did not eat as we had already eaten. all in all, we had a wonderful time and will definitely come back."

"WOW !!!! I don't know why I waited so long . If I could I would give grumpys 10 stars . Had a southwest roast beef sandwich the beef and stuff on the sandwich was over the top. The Au jus not sure if I spelled that rite) I could have drank a glass of it. The owner and staff were friendly and efficient. I got to try a piece of the cornbeef and I can tell you this I am getting a cornbeef sandwich next time it was delicious. Thank you Grumpy for a magnificent sandwich at a very resonable price"

"This place is awesome! It's small but puts out food with huge flavor. Everything I've had from Cleopatra has been perfectly seasoned and the atmosphere is friendly. I highly recommend the lentil soup. While I planned to save half for later, it was so comfortingly spicy that I couldn't stop eating it."
