"Not a lot of options for lunch on a Sunday, and this place was not only open but very welcoming. Friendly staff (spoke English, were kind enough to bring a bowl of water for our dog).It's a small place with family ambiance.It has a very complete German menu and best part is that whoever is their chef, is very close to a genius! I've never tasted a better tomato soup and the duck was just out of this world. You can tell it's all homemade (they warned us the duck would take an extra half hour) and made on the spot. If German food is what you like or if you're in the area looking for something typical, this is the place to go- their flavor is exceptional!"

"It was 15:00, the pizzeria was closed and the cook sat in front of the entrance in the sun and enjoyed his break. We asked him where to get the next pizza. There he barely ruled out and enchants us 4 delicious pizzas."

"It would probably want to call itself a traditional house.The tradition of hospitality is not just great. with an eye it looks old, better you do not open the second eye. it is simply not what a traveler may expect, not to this proud price three times. the rooms without a contemporary and working door lock (apparently there are other rooms) better you don't have expensive high-quality equipment otherwise these are safe better in the car but that only at the rande. the room has a moderate smell that is already tried by the hotel to fight with every amount of fragrance. initially one tries to see what, however, in the night hardly goes up and freeze even at non-summer temperatures. the slanted floor and the cleanliness I don't look out in detail and I think it's almost self-explanatory, summarized a little silly. after a very special night, the breakfast is also something special. the packed items like cheese you can turn around and see what the durability date says. the chefin sees this can happen quite relaxed and who wants to be so exact at 30 days overdue. It is certainly there of advantage for the guest not to know the durability date."

"We actually spent several months at the Adler, which rescued us when other sabbatical housing plans fell through. Bettina and Matthias (new owners in the last couple years, I think) offer friendly hospitality, seasoned with a very artistic eye. The Inn is over 200 years old, with comfortable rooms (no two quite alike), but with solid amenities. The ONLY complaint is that the restaurant is only open for dinners, and then six nights a week (closed Wednesdays). The chef does a great job, offering a smallish but solid German regular menu, along with a seasonal set of "specials" that seem to change about once a month. Those are always great, too, and usually pretty creative. Prices are reasonable, and the service is always friendly and un-rushed. Several friends booked at the Adler for shorter stays while we were there, and they all had wonderful experiences too."

"We had 2 x burger and 1x green curry. the curry was quite good, but the burgers were a pure fall. totally labbrige buns, which after nothing tasted, was not roasted and was also completely diverted from the roasted juice. we were very disappointed. but no hopeless fall. just toast the buns a short time!Ketchup and majo would have done well on the table too. the pommes were also not the hit.Also all too expensive! but we give a 2nd chance."
