"I would swear that I have reviewed this restaurant on TA in the past....but I've had a few other reviews I've done go missing, too. Anyway, any time I stay at the Moevenpick Regensdorf, I have dinner at Hot Wok. I found it by accident...the first time and I look forward to it when I come back. Friendly owner and good service. A nice mix of Thai, Chinese, Malaysian, Japanese, and Indian fare. I love their hot and sour soup and I always get the Duck Sizzler. I don't get enough duck in the US so I eat it as much as I can when in Germany or Switzerland. Tonights was the plumpest, meatiest duck breast I've ever had. Free parking a couple blocks from the Moevenpick. Restaurant itself has been recently redecorated. It is not an inexpensive meal by American standards. A beer, a soup, and the entrée were 55CHF"

"This was a lovely dinner with authentic Thai food (I found it a little too spicy/chilli) but I was safe taking the dish with the chicken pieces cooked wrapped in leaves and served with rice. It was yummy. My boyfriend had a Panang Curry which...tasted very good (a little too sharp for me though so I could not eat much). Portions are reasonable. Service is verrrry slow, but then again, it is also not a fast foodtype of restaurant, you go there to sit, sip wine and chat, have a relaxed evening. Lovely experience. The lady thought I was Thai andkept talking to me in Thai and after a while she realized I spoke English and then her attitude was a little abrupt with me, perhaps she thought I was Thai but refused to speak my language when in fact I am of Chinese origin... The other waitress (also Thai) was very pleasant she made us feel at home, made jokes and acknowledged us in a friendly charming manner. Dessert was a big disappointment we were getting ready for fresh fruits but all we were given were about 100 different ice cream flavours to choose from! It was also a commercial, shop bought ice cream so we were not greatly impressed. Nonetheless, we ordered coconut ice cream to share."
