"The staff here are really friendly and obliging. We arrived on the day before they were due to close for the season. The staff were really helpful in suggesting food that they still had available. A lovely atmosphere in the restaurant so don't be put...off by the outside. We had soup followed by pizza and all were delicious."

"We were in the middle of a property hunting visit to Saint Lary (not Saint Lary Soulan). We searched out this auberge in the centre of town. A beautiful little auberge set by the river with a lovely little cafe style bar at the front and a restaurant at the back. The restaurant terrace overlooks the river. As we were lunching we sat in the cafe/bar/shop area. We ordered the set menu (3 courses for 15 euro I think). Simple food but beautifully cooked. A really tasty home made vegetable soup with beautiful homemade bread, followed by braised chicken legs in their own sauce. A third course of brulee finished off the meal before we carried on with our househunting expedition. Will definately go back soon and try an evening meal by the river."

"I went to dinner with my wife in this little restaurant after a surf day. in this restaurant that has a deco of the 80s, you will eat simply and well: the menus are traditional and not sophisticated while the quantities are gargantues. We finished our plates because I don't like to throw food but it was at the cost of a great effort! The meat is cooked in the chimney and it is excellent!Break a restaurant without pretention but that I prefer to a completely clean but without charm and without the sympathy of the patron saint."
