"Finally managed to get a table after spending the last three years on vacation in the area and wow, worth the wait!We were taken into the courtyard for lunch and it was a good mixture of groups and couples, so great buzz with waiters constantly moving with massive plates of fish, vegetables and meat!For starters we had the prawns and charcuterie, which was a meal in itself! Amazing fresh crudités with an assortment of small dishes like onions, anchovies, lentils etcFor main course, I had the chicken with morel mushrooms and partner had sea bream, both amazing.To finish, the eau de vie was a real pick me up!Service is brilliant and then on way to loos, recommend wandering around the downstairs to look at the Picasso, Miro etc!"

"The setting is nice, in the garden of a house by the swimming pool. The welcome is just as friendly. Nothing to complain about the meats offered, the ones we tasted were very good. "I went to see, I left because of the service. Not great! We booked a table a week in advance, but when we arrived, the waitress told us where our table was (can't show us) and ended up being horrified by what we saw. A table and fortune plastic chairs away from the main terrace under an open metal staircase (you can imagine what we could have seen) near a crazy wall and I think it's the toilet. When we refused the table and went out, the waitress told us to wait 15 minutes because another table is available. 30 minutes later and the staff who avoids visual contact, I told her it was unfair to ask for a ransom as she did. His remarks were not positive. Honestly, we cannot comment on food and you can have luck with a reasonable view, but there are many other places where you can go close with better views, decoration and service. "On 22 July 2018 we enjoyed a family dinner with four at the La Brouette restaurant in St Paul de Vence. We were warmly welcomed by the patron in his relatevely small and hence very cosy! restaurant and enjoyed a very nice dinner on the garden terrace. We opted for the 33 Euro per person formulae. The menu consisted of starters with margret de canard, terrine de foie, saumon mariné and of a choice of main dishes: truite fumé au feu de bois, danish fricadelles meat or chicken émincé de poulet . With our party of 4 we tasted all three main dishes that were excellent. As dessert we opted for the chocomousse of white chocolat with speculoos , the pêche and the pannacota with abricots. Everything was well prepared and served with a smile! The wine menu is limited but well chosen. We had a Bourgogne alligoté that accompanied the dishes very well. In total we paid 45 Euro pp which is an extremely excellent quality price ratio! We will certainly return to La Brouette!"
