"An unexpected gourmet delight worth a detour. The restaurant is relatively new, opened by a young Chef, Gabriel, and his friend who is the maitre d' and the waiter.Pot-au-Feu de foie gras was a pleasant surprise with nice contrast between the texture of foie gras and vegetables in the soup (celery, zucchini), and with added armagnac flavor. The fish (local sturgeon) and the meat (beef filet) came with wok veggies. The dinner ended with a very good gateau chocolate with coffee ice cream.The restaurant is located on D2 in St Seurin de Cadourne, not far from St Estephe. Chateau Ormes de Pez, and Chateau Pomys (both recommended accommodation) are nearby. While driving on D2, watch for the orange house on the right, there is a parking lot right after the house.Do not confuse with a Bistrot with the same name which is in Bordeaux."
