"My husband and I eat an embarrassingly large amount of Chinese food (both in the UK and abroad). I can only assume that the majority of people who have left reviews for this 'restaurant ' so far do not! The food is terrible. The 'chicken curry ' is so salty it will blow your head off. But without the salt it would have no flavour. The whole meal was a complete waste of calories so we settled up and left pretty swiftly. The drinks were expensive (fair enough its how a lot of these buffets make their money) but the food was such a disgrace. The ice cream looked ok because they hadn 't prepared it and it came out of commercial tubs! Save your money and the calories and pay a little extra to eat in a nice authentic Chinese restaurant. Not one that relies on drunk brits not being able to taste anything and wanting a bargain buffet. Good luck!"

"Having stayed all inclusive nearby, food was getting repetitive. So we ventured out and found this really lovely restaurant. Food was delicious, really good portion sizes. Highly recommended. We had Prawn crackers. Spring Rolls (which were actually large pancake rolls) BBQ ribs. Crispy Beef (delicious)...Chicken and pineapple (sweet but lovely) Sweet and sour prawns in batter (Nom Nom) Fillet steak in pepper sauce. (The most expensive and least flavour would have again). Rice needed to order more. All in all, excellent food, not too expensive, good portion size."

"Not very recommended. It's really noisy in the restaurant, the waiters are very hectic and run around the shop in a hurry. The food is so ok. I had a schnitzel for ~14€. The schnitzel itself was quite good but the fries that came with it were frozen fries that were lukewarm and unsalted. All in all not worth the price. I rather recommend another restaurant in Maspalomas"

"Accommodating for Vegans! We had a look around locally at all the restaurants, a lot have very similar menus except for the Chinese. We asked for vegan food, (we did have to explain no meat, no egg, no milk) and the staff knew what we were on about. The tofu and veg was the cheapest main on the menu so you know there’s no ‘vegan tax’. We had a bottle of wine for €10.50 and all in all our 2 meals came to €35. Very happy with that! Recommended"

"We tried out the Carlos V in the Cita centre, the set menu offers good choice and value BUT they could do so much better with the presentation of the dishes, starters were both fine, tasty and they then let themselves down with the main courses, food was good but there was served with just chips and no vegetables or any kind of side salad or garnish, with just a little bit more thought they could be so much better. Wine price was good."
