"In the summer of 2018 they only had a rice buffet (no burgers or curry and it is macrobiotic, so there is some fish. Most of the food had a tag in English but vegan or not was not always clear. It was hard to understand what the 3 possible options for the buffet were and how it worked without English menu. The staff knew little English but they really tried and were very patient. There is wifi so before going to the counter I recommand connecting to have some Google translate. They expected you to pour some sort of gazpacho and cold tea over the rice, which was pretty weird for Japan. Thirth pouring option contained fish. Not so much buffet choices, food was simple but OK. Very interesting peanut tofu, though. What made it worth coming here were the desserts and ginger ale: really delicous! (And certainly vegan, was clearly indicated on the menu in Japanese thanks, Google translate."

"January 2023 I did not know about the separate vegetarian menu that everyone speaks of. However, there was a fee vegan curries on the main menu and they were very clearly marked. I ordered the vegan Sojaburger Patty Curry (sounds interesting, I know) with extra spinach and it was surprisingly good for a large chain restaurant. The price was also good, just a little over 1000 yen."

"I went here for lunch with a bunch of coworkers, none of whom were vegan. I had a set meal, which for me was a huge amount of food, and included brown rice, a croquette, soup, some pumpkin, and a noodle dish. I loved my meal. Most of my coworkers ordered a Thai curry and I only heard good things. This place is quite small (maybe 12 seats? and has a small selection of organic products and health foods. My Japanese coworkers spoke to the staff (and asked to ensure that the set meal was vegan so I can't speak to the staff's English, but they were very friendly and the service was great. I will definitely be back."

"The entire restaurant is run by a guy who cooks and serves everything. All the time it feels like we were invited to his house for a strange and elaborate meal. As far as I can say that he does not really speak English (my girlfriend was available to communicate), but I reserved a table (in English) on Instagram and had no problems. Good signage and easy to find (can be updated since previous reviews). We got the 10-course menu and it was honestly all extremely varied and simply super cool and delicious. Feels very demanding, but up to Earth. I write this review because this guy is great and earns more money! Would like to return for another season to see what new dishes he comes with."

"That loved eating here, preparation needs time because they make it after ordering, but it is worth waiting. all the way I had in sapporo, this is the first time I tasted Indian tadka. the cost also worth. they have an English menu that makes it easier to order. eating here loved the art and wise how the place is designed is amazing! if they are in sapporo and want to have suppenkur, this is a place to go! best suppenkur I had so far!"

"Japanese vegan food that feeds your soul. We ate here in winter 2017 and again in winter 2020. This is my favourite cafe/restaurant not just in Sapporo but also my favourite out of all the places I have been to in Japan. Both times we ate here I have left feeling inspired to pickle more veggies (including peanuts) and to cook more real food instead of using mock meats."
