"Hello, my friends! Gotham Deli is just the taste of home you sometimes need. The Bratbeef was excellent, with horseradish fresh enough to make my eyes water. If the Broccoli salad is not the same recipe as the Italian pizzeria I worked 1000 years ago in PA, I?ll eat my hat. But we all know that the bread makes the sandwich, right? "My boyfriend and I went here for dinner. I absolutely CAN NOT eat seafood and asked for the Tofu Hot Pot with Lo-Mein. The waitress even said “Let me write this down so I get it right” after discussing with me what came in the Tofu Hot Pot. My orders comes along with my boyfriend’s order. I immediately smell seafood. I opened the hotpot and asked “What is this?” She brought me a dish full of seafood that I’m highly allergic too. My boyfriends meal was fine but he sent it back because he didn’t want to eat in front of me. They sent the orders back. The owners or maybe managers did try to make things right and they kept checking on us. Our food comes back with a different waitress who had an attitude. I had to wait on the LoMein and a fork to eat. My food was so overcooked and mushy( Tofu and veggies). I took two bites and couldn’t even eat it. We decided to leave and the owner asked how was our food. My boyfriend told her that his food was fine but mine was still on the table. The owner did comp our bill and removed my order. I had heard so many good things which is why we went there in the first place. I hate that I had a bad experience but the manager/owner were really nice to us as well as the cashier. "Complete garbage knowing u don't carry that dish don't inform customer the owner brings it out to me with kindness what a slime ball It was horrible to top it off . False advertisement Owner apparently doesn't give a heck and only cares about money should have went to silvios a real gnocchi dish with real gravy and mozzarella melted all ob top of it. "Thai chicken soup was great, but you will be disappointed if you expect actual pieces of chicken in it. It should be called chicken flavored Thai soup. Very good piece of bread came with it. I'd get it back, I suppose."
