"I enjoyed an excellent lunch with delicious wine and a very friendly lady in service. I actually wanted to order a Zurich Geschnetzeltes, but didn't know that it wasn't usually available at lunchtime. Instead, I was offered beef fillet cubes in a mushroom cognac cream sauce with rösti. The meat was buttery tender, the sauce was superb and the potato rosti was crispy. You can tell a professional has cooked here. I would love to come back. Greetings from colleague.. :"

"The restaurant is a perfect place for couple at a romantic date or group like us. We came with more than 25 people and stayed till late. The restaurant gave us a welcome greeting and great service. We had rib eye steak with fries and fresh vegetables. The steak was cooked beautifully and fries were fresh and crispy. For dessert, we had Molten chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream. We really enjoyed the night there and thank you to the team in Lagerhaus who made our night I. St. Gallen!"

"Lunch in a stone bistro. quality of eating is very good. service also at full totro very fast; and friendly!What I had a bit of effort was with the selection / type of main dishes to lunch. they were too special on the midday menu. so after the appetizer from the midday menu I decided for the turbulent potato soup - super! - at the main course for the burger from the map. very good big burger with pommes. have not regretted the election."

"The first time I was a little young before approx. 25 years in golden drachen. at the time there were still fish soup on the map. this suppe has disappeared today, otherwise it has hardly changed locally. authentically furnished rooms and a very courteous service promise a carefree evening. the card offers a lot of fine dressed from china and eating delicious. the Chinese schnapps to the end was wonderful. easy criticism goes to dessert. the ice ball with the panade came inviting to the teller and was flambitized. Unfortunately, the whole taste was not as expected. but it is worth going to dinner at drachen. a great local – stable and good."

"The inside of the restaurant isn't all that nice but the patio is great--sitting out in/near Gallusplatz. The food is very good quality and the service is excellent. Prices reflect that. We shared a salad and a main course and they added CHF 13 to our bill which I had mixed feelings about. They did split it for us into nice portions (which we didn't really ask for) and the presentation was very nice. In any case, I would highly recommend this if you are looking for a very nice Swiss dining experience."

"We visited on a Monday evening in July. We sat on the small and pleasant garden. We were served by a very polite and attentive waitress. Our dog was allowed to join us and was treated equally politely as we were. We were offered melon with smoked prosciutto as amuse-bouche. For starters we had: baby spinach salad with roasted pine nuts (fresh and crispy, pine nuts nicely roasted, vinaigrette a little bit on the oily side) and lemon carpaccio with smoked salmon and avocado (sounded better than it tasted: good idea, but very strongly dominated by the lemon.) For mains we had fish carousel wich is a variety of 4 sautéed fish sorts with champagne risotto (overall good, some fish sorts were more successful than others: the best was perch with saffron sauce; tuna had a really nice coating, but was a bit overdone; risotto was perfectly balanced.) The wine we chose was not matching, but it's our fault, we should have asked for a recommendation. The price was what I would expect for this level of restaurant: 2-course dinner, including Prosecco, a Glas of wine and a digestif summed up to 165 CHF (41 CHF the mains.) I would visit again to try something other than fish, which is admittedly a tough benchmark in Switzerland."
