"Lovely restaurant.....very attentive service. Food was very good......Only issue was a very large and very noisy party was seated next to us. Since there were other tables in the restaurant that were available- perhaps it would have been better to have kept the large party off to themselves."

"Currently, the five star rating is only available to fully vegan or vegetarian restaurants. What a pity! The food here is as good as any Chinese restaurant in San Francisco’s Chinatown. The vegan options are varied and delicious. The staff is incredibly friendly, knows what “vegan” means, and are attentive. We had the eight treasures vegetables which were outstanding and included baby corn and other exotic vegetables like water chestnuts. We also had vegan orange chicken which was just amazing made with shiitake instead of fake meat."

"Charming cafe. I ordered the Mediterranean sandwich and it had me wishing I could get something of this quality in Dallas. The bread is from Wild Leven and the roasted vegetables with turmeric tahini spread and lime, garlic spread made this sandwich. I will also be adding toasted sesame seeds to my future salads. Great plate of food and made for great left overs."

"This would have been a 5-star experience, but it went down at the end. Our server was super chilly and sweet. She was very attentive for the first hour and 1/2. After that we were almost ignored by her, as she took care of larger and more lucrative parties. The manager came up, but why couldn't she take our bill? We sat there for a 1/2 hour. In my book there is no Taos Time in expensive restaurants. There is a standard of service that should be maintained without excuses. The mushroom Bisque was brilliant, the steak was good, the flavors all well, but I expect that I was consistent and all the way through just as I was at the beginning. Not disturbing dressing on, there were jeans and ski vests here as in most places (which is cool and not cool) service is important and you can lose the reputation on this alone, even if the food is good. Desserts were huge! Would I go back? I haven't decided yet (and yes, we buy land in the area, so I'm not just a tourist or touron)."

"My friend and I stopped here on Saturday, 2/12. We enjoyed a pick-six of the charcuterie, a few glasses of wine, the kielbasa appetizer and a decadent cream brulee to complete it all. Sommelier (and probably owner) was so knowledgeable that he made the dining room above the top. Hearing his knowledge and processes really opened us to his world and we are so grateful. Chutney, cheese, sauerkraut and capocollo stood out. Especially the duckbone. Duck confit was just about the most tasty thing we had all week. Unbelievable thoughts and care on each row and presented with each court. We'll be back, even if we have to drive from Denver, just for a bite of the duck."

"Unfortunate that this part of the country does not have any vegan restaurants, but was happy to find many positive reviews for Taos Mesa Brewery. You would think vegan would be right up the Taos community’s alley, being they are an artist community, but no go. We were happy to find a place that offered a vegan option that was also very tasty! Their pizza, as many others have noted on this website, is indeed very appetizing! We built our own and were happy to wash it down with some very good microbrews too. Updated from previous review on 2021 06 20"

"Loved this restaurant! Fantastic food great service. We had the pork taco plate the fajitas. Both were excellent. We were too full for dessert, but the desserts looked delicious. They are also dog friendly on the patio so that is an added bonus. We were checked on multiple times by our servers. I definitely recommend this place when you are in Taos!"
