"Dined here with spouse during our visit to Villa de Leyva. Welcomed and served promptly. Chose two of the Menu de Dia for about $8,000 COP each. Came with a fresh juice, soup (Sopa de Patacon), Arroz con Pollo, salad and French fries. Filling and delicious. Would go back."

"Visited the restaurant the first evening that we arrived in VDL. The menu itself looked phenomenal, we opted for the burger- with help from our host, Simon. I think he is the owner. Would recommend this as a must for anyone visiting the town."

"After hiking to the viewpoint we went back to the city and saw this cozy place. Many locals where we eat here, so we thought it should be a good place for lunch. And we really don't regret it. We had the most expensive (22,000 pesos, 7 euros! Court on the menu, salmon with orange sauce. It was fabulous. You have a salad bar where you can refuel with some vitamins. Really good, especially because most of the times when you eat outdoors, it is hard to find some vegetables. They also had a lunch package (soup, rice, meat, salad and pommes for 10,000 pesos (3.30 euros). Unbelievable, they can offer so good food for so little money. Really recommended!"

"Been traveling now in Colombia for 2 weeks... and without a doubt the menu del dia here was one of our best lunches! Service was friendly, pleasantly efficient, food was delicious presentation was spot on! From the entree of the Sancocho soup to the trout main course to the wonderful mouth of pure wonderfulness, the strawberry cake was the whole experience was great! Hands down one of the missed unforgettable meals until now and for $5... what can I say, but... holly cow!"

"The waitress messed up the order, got all sulky when reminded of her errors, quesadillas were cold and beyond greasy, all together very bad experience. The Only cheer up was the blackberry smoothie....."

"It was recommend by a friend and we were very happy to have tried it!!We didn't like the choice of the Daily menu because was battered fish. We picked from the menu and my husband had the Arroz Marinero and he loved it. I had the boneless chicken on the grill and it was delicious. I wanted fish but they didn't have two of them. Have to try it during the weekends. Very well presented and good portions.The Pasteles de Arracacha and Carimannolas were delicious!!! We had those as appetizers and they wer very tasty and different.My only complain was the price of our desert: Postre de Natas...OMG it was very expensive. Is just milk and sugar guys...:-( Wont order that anymore even though it was good. Beautiful house with a back Patio were you can see the chefs cooking. The staff was very nice too :-)"
