"Only noticed this place whilst driving past the other week managed a visit at last. It is close to the road end of the mall they do street tacos for 5, which makes a healthy cheap cheerful lunch. The shells are the soft kind there is a vegetarian option-black bean. There is a choice of salsa so I opted for the spiciest of course it was topped off with coriander onion-just delicious"

"AWESOME!!!!. Went in to PC Kelvin Grove on the weekend. I was greeted with excellent service and a great meal. They were fairly busy but still got my order out to me on time! The store looks great, and so clean. Also their new ice cream is to die for!!!!! Well worth the money!<br/ <br/ Thanks guys"

"Staff are really friendly, also very generous with the ingredients...best thing about eating here is that you won’t not be filled. Food is made right in front of you. Love spicy food and I’d have to say their spicy sauce was quite spicy but I loved it!!"

"Overall great experience. Authentic latin american flavours. Highly recomend the Calentado with yummy plantains. Friendly service. The place was really busy but food didn't take long to arrive. Coffee could better. I think they have a new menu (maybe since my last visit) that does not dissapoint."

"After hearing the recommendations from our waitress (whom, mind you, had a great personality and was so attentive yet in a very casual way), I literally wanted everything off the menu. I didn’t, luckily, as the portions were so generous and all we wanted to do after dinner was to curl up into a ball. The chicken wings are a must. They were simply sweet tenderness coated in smoky hickory BBQ sauce. I thought they were the best thing that there is at The Burrito Bar, but that was until I saw my Taco Salad; filled with Mexislaw, pico de gallo, roasted tomato salsa, lime rice and savoury beans with chicken, then topped with sour cream and guacamole, it was all served in a bowl made out of crispy taco chips. No word of a lie, it was the best taco salad I have ever had. I invited the other travel bunnie to try my taco salad, but he insisted that he was completed satisfied with his Ultimate Mexican Burrito. If you are a taco fan, be sure to try the Baja fish taco with chipotle mayo, mexislaw roasted tomato salsa and the Aida taco slow cooked marinated beef with cheese and pico de gallothe, as they were pretty good as well."

"After I read the reviews of so many top reviewers about this café, I bookmarked to have an exploration 6 months ago. Grab the time to have a brekkie this morning. It was not quite busy when I walked in the café. Barista was busy at preparing orders and he seemed to know what he was doing with professional manner. Love to see all the food displayed in the cabinet that kick-started my appetite immediately. Ordered my flat white and the Hollandaise egg with Salmon. Coffee came with light aroma and the barista did a good job to reflect the taste of Merlo. Just a subjective feedback was the strength was not up to my expectation. Next time, I must order another shot (it is free to add shot) to make it perfect to my palate. The savoury dish came the next and the presentation looked great. Eggs were done perfectly with running egg yolk when my knife pierce through the egg white. Smoked salmon was nice and fresh. I think I need to re-visit to try out the test-tube idea of coffee that they serve, they look great and inventive."

"I just had a best Beef burger here! It’s so tasty, and like the char grill flavor so much! My husband ordered a beef burrito bowel which is made him die for! And the churros are so crunchy and I strongly recommend for ordering them with the fudge sauce! And Love the lady who served me, she was so polite and nice to us, thank you for making us a wonderful late lunch. And we will definitely come back!"
