"I went with a couple of friends on a week night. Brisket is my favorite, soo, I ordered the brisket sandwich. I could have been more disappointed, but not by much. Note to self only order brisket at a 'smoke house ' type of establishment. I upgraded my side to a Caesar salad for $1.99. Not that the salad wasn 't good, it was OK, but honestly $1.99 upcharge for the cup of salad on a plate preposterous!! Won 't do that again, actually, I haven 't been to a Montana 's in about 15 yrs, and hopefully it 'll be 16 yrs before I eat there again."

"Had to admit but I was in twice this weekend!!Had the features Friday night!! It was fantastic. But we saw the table next to use get nachos. What can I say I couldn’t stop thinking about them and my wife and I went back today! Wow. They did not disappoint. Loaded with cheese and topping. It only came with one sour cream and salsa but the server was happy to bring us 2 more! We will be back. And I’m thinking it will be Thursday for Turkey Bowl. Sounds like a great time. We are new to town and love this gem."

"My family and I had lunch from the hot counter. It was so good! The potato pancakes were crispy and well seasoned. Pierogies were so tender and tasty. Sauerkraut meat pieces were great! Good prices and friendly staff."

"What a great find! A friend from Hamilton suggested the Phoenix Bar & Grill, which is on the McMaster University campus. Great location and it's in the Refectory Building.I had the classic chicken club sandwich with fries. It was very good and also a good portion. Many beers available.It was quite busy but we were seated right away and served within a few minutes.Nice outside patio as well, which overlooks a ravine."

Friendly wait staff who learn your name, good food, laughter and a great atmosphere make you want to stay all evening and they are delighted when you do stay Feel welcome, relaxed and...at home. Locke St. Hamilton is an interesting old street with a variety of small shops and spas. Very worth a visit!"

"Had it not been recommended by our B&B owner we may have walked by it is a very unassuming and low-key looking place. Not especially welcoming, from the outside. But once in the people are very friendly and it is clear this is a...local watering hole where everyone knows each other and the atmosphere is friendly and pleasant. Think of Cheers, only not very trendy. The usual beers on tap (but as a bonus they had Rolling Rock We had an evening meal, and the food was really very good. Might sound odd but the only negative about the meal was that there were too many fires a heap with our veggie wrap and cheeseburger. I would rather pay a dollar less and have half the fires. The meals were typically priced in the to range for sandwiches/burgers. Another small point on the con side was that it was warm too warm. There is no air conditioning and the few ceiling fans merely moved warm air, and slowly. But all in all I would return and I can recommend Stoneroads to you"
