"Attractive restaurant, just a shame the food didn’t live up to the expectations. Ordered fish (haddock) chips which was ok, if not a bit bland. Hubby had a mixed grill which was basically, egg, bacon (looked like bacon although advertised as gammon) Sausage, chips. The ‘steak’ was the thinnest piece of meat I’ve ever seen. A McD’s happy meal burger patty is bigger. No lie. They even ask you how you want it cooked. The medium arrived as well done rubber. Probably because it’s so small! The service was a bit hit miss. Tried quite a few times to get attention of waiting staff but they managed to avoid eye contact quite a lot. On the up side, we did feed back about the mixed grill and they knocked it off the bill (but that wasn’t the plan). Would have preferred to pay full price for a decent dinner."
