"I had a great time last night at uncle Ray’s. Hadn’t gone in a while so decided to stop in last minute for some food and drinks. Jennifer was lovely and so hospitable, bartender Ty was slinging delicious cocktails and our server was attentive and helpful. We were only going to have a couple apps and drinks but ended up staying for a whole meal and the food was delicious. I ordered the Nashville hot plate, others at the table ordered the platter and it looked/tasted great. They have many lighter options for food as well. Thanks for the fun night!"

"I had asked for a Greek salad without Romaine lettuce.They had said they can't do that and it would cost me $15 just for the toppings.A true Greek salad consist of;Cucumber Tomato bell pepper red onion and Kalmata olives and Feta cheese.Why would I be charged more for a salad minus lettuce. That doesn't belong?The server could not offer me another option. She had to go to the kitchen to ask.In my professional and humble opinion, the kitchen was to (lazy) to make me a simple salad.Went across tothe B side. Found out it was the same owners, so we stayed for a beer and moved on.During this transition from The pheasant plucker to B side .Had a employee of the pheasant plucker argue with me in the street about my decision to not custom her establishment.I am a chef of 25 years.If the kitchen could have accommodated one customer.For a correct salad.The Pheasant plucker would of had a $300 influx to their coffers.The email in the answer does not exist."

"We were friends out to enjoy dinner and music. There is no parking so we paid a meter outside the building (which is in a very seedy part of town) that had a hour limit so we had to go back during dinner...to pay again. The restaurant is very small, people fit tight. It has a nice atmosphere, very southern USA. We were sat at the bar on wobbly bar stools with wooden crates to rest our feet on. Atmospheric but very uncomfortable for a hour seating. The food was good, but not worth the money we paid. The catfish was dry and not much Cajun flavour. The rice and beans was ok, coleslaw and a cornmeal muffin were ok. The apple crisp after dinner was good, my favourite part of the meal was the café du monde, but by that time we were sweating from lack of air conditioning, being crowded in a small room and lots of candles burning. The entertainment was good and it was a fun evening. It would have been so much better if we were at all comfortable. The seating and the heat took much of the fun out of an otherwise fun atmosphere."
