"Finally tried this diner on Abercrombie St. Very unique ambience, a fairly open kitchen and a movie projected onto the wall. The burgers were great! Fresh and flavourful. I really liked the fries as well. Would definitely come back to try more!"

"Delivered it through Uber Eats, was feeling like snacky type food. Got Curly Fries ($6), Smoked Hot Wings ($12), BBQ Corn ($6) and Mac & Cheese Balls ($12). I guess it didn't help that the delivery person was just hanging around for a while, not sure if they were trying to find the place or what, either way - our food was cold. Chips were dried up, Wings were a bit tasteless, not enough sauce, it's more a battered dish and yea not hot. Mac & Cheese Balls were ok. Best one was the BBQ corn - had the most flavour. I've had the Fries before and they are usually good - this was at the Bar. I guess it's much better to eat in and I'd give it a 4 if this was a review for sitting in, atmosphere is great. Also, wouldn't rec the Wings. Total $36."

"Beautiful 'beef burger ' at Burger Barrel today. My burger was on a fresh brioche bun, juicy meat patty, cheddar cheese, pickles and sauce. Overall 7/10."

"A group of 8 of us had booked in for a farewell lunch to a business colleague and on a busy Friday we were seated at a long table in the glassy rear atrium area near the lovely open fire, a very nice place to be. The service was spot on and we quickly had drinks and our orders taken despite there being some fussy eaters amongst us. And on a Friday lunch.Shared starters include Sardines & Soldiers which were very tasty, something interesting most of us hadn't tried before. I had the Chilli Crab Linguine which was delicious, generous with crab and perfectly cooked. Enjoyed the Pinot Noir on the table that one of our group had ordered. Service from the staff was attentive, informative and friendly. Definitely recommended."

"Cheers has been a major pit stop for many of us over the years and through it’s temporary evolution of the 80 Proof spinoff, we rediscovered a great underground venue space that hosts a lineup of entertainment from stand up comedy to hip hop crew dance-offs to corporate functions. So it’s nice that it goes back to basics with what we loved most about it - Sport, Entertainment and Hearty food. Currently there is a streak of Asian in some of the dishes which makes sense, but all our old faves are still there.

THE HAWKER PLATE is a mixed grill of pork belly slices and southern fried chicken. Its a great example of how it’s menu has streaks of Asian influence through it, as it shares the board with Thai/Malaysian street style peanut sauced Satay Chicken sticks - a welcome addition.

THE VERMICELLI NOODLE SALAD takes you Vietname with the crunch from the bean sprouts and kick of slight chill and coriander with battered sliced fish through it!

Mate had the NY BURGER: (Quote) "I went the double bacon cheeseburger and wasn't dissapointed. Not my preferred cheddar, prefer the American, but the beef and bacon were good. Bun was soft. Again, my dislike of sweet caramelised onions on a beef burger was apparent to me. Chips although basic were well seasoned.” - I love caramelized onion so this burger would have been up my alley, but I was very pleased with my choice!

Lucky enough to be served by the manager himself, Mark and very personable character with superfast delivery times from the (I peered in) small kitchen! It’s like magic I tell ya!!!

This isn’t just for NRL, EPL, UFC fans as there’s a great mix of sports lovers, carefree and corporates that come through setting a really relaxed and funky vibe to the place!"

"Service is good in here, and drinks are cheap, even cheaper during happy hour. There's lots to do inside like play pool and there's a screen to watch sports on. There's also a dance floor available, a good place to go for a night out with friends."

"Bianca: Team FFS have been exploring Sydney’s foreshores it seems. It’s easy to dismiss the touristy eating traps of Darling Harbour and Circular Quay but walk up a ways to King Street Wharf and there are actually some really decent restaurants to discover. And with Barangaroo unveiling new eateries every few months, the competition is high."
