"The location is extremely convenient if you’re catching public transport, as it’s only a few minutes walk from the station. I had always noticed it walking past but first time dining in.<br/ <br/ We ordered vegetarian dumplings and some prawn dumplings. Both were tasty and did not bring shame to their name. Guess you can’t go wrong with this choice, and they had a good variety on offer.<br/ <br/ Surprisingly the good food didn’t stop there as the noodles were quite nice also. Perhaps they could do with some more variety with the noodles as the ones on the menu were all meat heavy. We asked if they could take out the meat and give us more veggies instead, which the waiter confirmed was fine. When the noodles came out, it unfortunately did not look like there was an extra serving of vegetables but regardless we went with it. Wasn’t too pleased when it came time to pay and they had actually charged us more for the “extra” vegies when it was agreed upon that it was a replacement!<br/ <br/ As much as I was fine with the dumplings and noodles, I am not keen to order the bean sprouts again as they were very difficult to chew and my jaw was actually hurting after a while. I now know it’s a seasonal issue rather than the chef’s cooking but still, wasn’t a good introduction to this dish.<br/ <br/ Dumplings and noodles were tasty, so stick with these and you’ll have a great meal. Pricing wasn’t too bad, but we probably could have done with a bit more food, so around $30pp."

"The colors of the plate were alive and sweet tasted and looked very fresh. as it is cooked in a sizzling bowl, they must thoroughly mix the bowl before they dig in. she would have liked more meat and spinach roots should have been chopped before serving. but the service was fast as the dish was ready to cook in less than minutes."

"TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! BE CAREFUL! I once loved this place. Not anymore! My friend had too much to drink tonight as she had been going through a rough time. So I called my bf to pick us up after dinner and he was minutes...away. Little did I know that my friend was vomiting under the table when I thought she was sleeping. She was very unresponsive. I was helpless and didnt know what to do. The only waitress in the restaurant and the manager tonight March) were kicking us out and I told them I couldnt carry my friend as she was unresponsive and she was bigger than me. I told her my bf was coming to pick us up in minutes. The waitress then told me I had to clean the vomit and that we were causing trouble (which I understand). I said ok give me something to clean it. She annoyingly pointed to the tissues on the table which are obviously so thin. I asked for paper towels which she later handed them to me. The guy waiters though came and helped and they had a mop. I helped them wipe the vomit on the floor a bit and offer to wipe more but they refused in a nice way. My bf came to pick us up and a customer helped us to get my friend in the car. We ended up in the emergency room tonight and my friend has to be admitted tonight as she is unresponsive and unconscious. I cant believe the treatment I received from this restaurant especially the disgusting treatment from the waitress (per photo). In addition to that, on the way to the toilet is the kitchen. I saw a cockroach on the floor and the kitchen isnt clean and organized. Ill never go to this restaurant. The ICG in China town is way better!"

"The restaurant is located in the City of Sydney RSL.We have eaten at this restaurant a couple of times and both times it was excellent. The last time there was a group of nine, we were meeting to arrange a cruise next year. We were seated in a long table near the window, when AJ, the host saw us he immediately asked if we would like to move to a large round table so we could all talk more easily. Nothing is a bother to him. There is a large selection of food at reasonable prices and being in a club drink prices are not too expensive. We have already booked for a return visit."

"Decided to grab a quick bite prior to a movie and came across this joint. The atmosphere is very inviting enjoyed the decor and cutlery. Service was prompt even when the place started filling up popular spot . As first timers, we opted to explore...across the broader menu, though I did notice most patrons stuck to yum cha options. We opted for the Peking Duck half , Wok fried beef with cumin, yangzhou fried rice, green beans with pork mince and xiao long bao. The standout for both of us was the Duck followed by the xiao long bao and the beef. Duck was beautifully cooked with great crispy outside. The xiao long bao had a thicker skin than expected, but the pork ball was savory. The beef was also quite good though slightly fatty at times. The greens beans with pork mince 干煸四季豆 is always a favorite for me but totally lacked any sense of flavor. The only redeeming quality was the beans were firm and crunchy. We didn't have dessert as opted for ice cream outside the venue. All up with tea and a soft drink cost 107 AUD which seems a bit steep for lunch. The portion sizes were pretty decent taking home some leftovers not the duck of course . The pricing is aligned to other Chinese restaurants serving similar dishes, but in my opinion, it was just a little off the mark of some of its competitors."

"If you look up 'cheap and cheerful' in the dictionary, there is probably a picture of the Malaysian Food House there. It's not particularly pretty and, truth be told, not particularly clean as they seem to have a very relaxed attitude towards clearing tables after customers have finished. However at $9 for a decent seafood Laksa - who can complain? As you would expect, it's not exactly packed with actual seafood (I counted one prawn) but the broth was tasty and the noodles were well-cooked. A good lunch option in the city. <br><br><a href="https://www.zomato.com/spoonback?u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.thernbdiary.com&amp;r=28660749&amp;to=32757769&amp;k=e29d777f1c90e9a1e7e9d9d6397b84b6" target="_blank"><span class="left red-text">thernbdiary.com</span><span class="grey-text left ml5" data-icon="ŧ"></span></a>"

"The fried chicken, I think, was dry inside. <br> The flavor was only on the coating, but not the chicken meat. And they use breast a lot, where is the hardest part for marinating. <br> The black sauce noodles, was very ordinary, nothing special.<br> Service was ok, always busy."
