"First time visiting Frankie and Benny's with a friend. We were politely welcomed to a seat and asked if we would like anything to drink before the waitress left. We asked for some time to decide what we wanted to order. The waitress returned promptly after serving customers who were ready to order. This was reasonable time for us. We then ordered drinks and two courses each. A starter and a main. The drinks were brought over in good time for us to settle and have a chat. The starters arrived not long after. My friend ordered a garlic bread pizza which he described as greasy but tasty. I decided to have the mozzarella dippers which tasted bland, even with the sauce. A couple of them were overcooked. For our mains we ordered a vegan burger with sweet potato fries and a plain 6oz burger with fries. The vegan burger was very tasty, however the sweet potato fries were slightly overcooked but still rather nice. The plain 6oz burger arrived : not plain. It had to be sent back and corrected. However my friend was pleased with it once it came back. We were rather full afterwards and decided to pass on trying a dessert. We asked for the tab and it came back to us at an incorrect amount. We soon realised they charged for a jug of the cocktail I ordered instead of a glass and 2 servings of coke. We brought this up to the waitress and she fixed the issue with the cocktail but informed us that because we ordered the coke from the main menu, instead of the side menu (even though they are the same price) that the refills would not be free. 7/10 food. 6/10 service. Wouldn't be somewhere I'd go back in a hurry as there are far superior eateries for similar prices."

"I celebrated my 20th birthday with my partner who treated me to eat. the service was fantastic, very professional and the waiter even recommended us a brilliant bottle of wine when the one we wanted was not available. when dessert came, the waiters surprised me with candles and singing on my ice sun. I did my day!"

"Wow! The pizzas were such good quality! I shall definitely be going again to try more of the menu. Unfortunately only 2 waiters who were letting in far too many people. Especially as it was a warm bank holiday weekend. They should have anticipated this and is very unfair for the 2 waiters who were running around. Had to kindly ask 3 times for extra drinks, in which case we were over charged for an extra drink we didn’t order. We paid this anyway as didn’t want to be an extra bother to the waiters, along with a service charge which should have been taken off. Also, waiters RUNNING around to serve people doesn’t create a great vibe. No fault of the waiters and chef’s themselves at all but just an encouragement for them to have more staff working or don’t welcome people in"
