"I met with two friends there for a dinner and we were seated outside the restaurant (since the weather was good) in the center of Badens old town, surrounded by nice old buildings. The service was excellent and personal we had a nice chat...with the owner and the food, well superb. My friends had the tartar and the venison madaillons which they claimed to be the best they ever had, being connaisseurs themselves. I had an excellent veal cordon bleu with fresh vegetables on the side. The wine list had a good choice with an excellent Duoro Riserva from 2005. Highly recommended."

"Don't get me wrong, this is a decent restaurant. Opt for some pasta or a pizza and the food might be truly excellent. However, should you be in the mood for something more elaborate such as potato-truffle soup you will be disappointed. Furthermore, the amuse-gueule...was not far short of a total disaster with tasteless cheese on burned bread in a dash of lukewarm soup. Still, most dishes are good, some even very good, but in the end the restaurant simply can’t keep what it promises."
