"We had lunch here twice on a visit to Cabo. Food was fresh, service was friendly and prompt. Our second visit was on a swelteringly hot day and we were able to get a table in their small air conditioned back room that is closed off by a glass door. Besides ourselves, the clientele in back was all locals-- good sign!Service from our waiter Carlos was extremely attentive, friendly and helpful, especially when he brought a young fellow named Carlos to the table to prepare his mama's "secret recipe" guacamole --- a real treat!!"

"Real Mexican food at a terrific price. My friends and I have been twice and both times the food was outstanding. I had the lunch special with warm bean dip and tortilla chips, spaghetti in a nicely spiced sauce, chicken fajitas, beans and rice and...flan for dessert for 85 pesos. Instead of fajitas, one friend had a shredded chicken dish the looked wonderful and my other friend had beef. The menu changes and these 85-peso lunches have several choices for your main dish. And, the service is quick and efficient. Can't believe I've lived here so long and missed this place. I highly recommend it."

"Because of road construction, we could say that osteria was a bit strenuous. it was one of the only restaurants that were open when we were on the street. When we came by, we were greeted by a very eager worker who worked very hard to get us into the door. we had already planned to go to this restaurant so we didn't need much convincing. I had limited options because I have zöliakie and can not eat gluten, but there was a potato peel that I could eat. it was difficult to communicate with the two employees what brought the dish with it, but ultimately, it was cubed kartoffels with cheese and a spicy on it. it was really good. later I explained that because of my allergy I could not eat brot or pasta and they actually made me a delicious suppe on the house! I was in awe with how beautiful they were to go the extra mile and make me something else I could eat; it was delicious! my fiancée ordered a cheese pizza and gave it up. he loved it and still talks about how good it was. they also gave us a lot of additional eating free as two separate Bruschetta dishes, because they really appreciated our business. the only hiccup is that it took a while to get our meal. but they have worked hard! give it a chance and they will be happy with their eating!"
