"Da Alberto was recommended by our excellent Segway tour guide, and we came for lunch. The kids were getting tired of schnitzel, so pizza seemed like a good change of pace.Given that there were four of us, that we hungry but not famished, and that we had never tried pizza at Ristorante Da Alberto, we thought we'd split a couple of pizzas and see what we liked best.It was made painfully clear, over minutes of discussion, that sharing a pizza is not allowed. If you get the food to take away, fine. (I got the impression that if they could figure out how to disallow that as well, they would.) Sharing in the restaurant, or at the sidewalk tables where we were, was strictly forbidden.I imagine this is so the restaurant makes more money, which is fine, but the whole thing left me a bit irked.In any case, we tried the Margherita pizza, and the Mario's, which has ham, salami, and peppers. Both kinds were good. I know because I tried some pizza that someone else had ordered. Thank goodness I didn't get caught.If you want some decent pizza, Da Alberto is fine. Their strict NO SHARING policy is a bit over the top."

"Former descriptions reflect the experience very well. Very nice staff. Three different pastas to choose between, which all tasted very good in different ways. The white wine served per glas was so so (too acid rich), but that is the only remark."

"Recommended by the proprietor at Hotel Turnerwirt, this little restaurant did not disappoint. They have a variety of Italian and other European specialties. Their Salzburger schnitzel was really excellent, the entrecôte was not overcooked, and the spaghetti carbonara was really nice too. The beer was good, all our desserts were delicious. It was not loud - you can actually have a conversation. Our waiter was friendly and helpful, and had great manners. All in all, quite a pleasant evening. Prices were reasonable; four adults and one child ate for about €100. Recommended!"

"The hotel receptionist recommended this restaurant. It is not easy to find but well worth persevering. The dining area was full of locals which speaks for its quality and value. We chose roast pork and the mixed grill. The food was well cooked and the portions very generous. The service was friendly and extremely efficient. It was a delight to eat in a restaurant with a great atmosphere. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting a taste of Austria"
